Randle from Kentucky is looking more and more like the best player in the country.

He's getting better than he was at the beginning of the year, and he was dominant then.

Handling the ball?  Running the break?  Looking like Barkley but more athletic

Yeah i don't think you realize how athletic Barkley was...

Randle only looks better because he's not playing so far away from the basket like he was earlier in the season (Cal trying to expand his game, prep him for the NBA like he did Patterson.) I can only guess Cal's realized he's not gonna be able to do that now with this team.

best player in the country? hell nah. getting better as a prospect (even still w/o a better face-up game?) sure.

nice to see Willie has a pulse.

Cal was talking a little crazy after the game, though.

more athletic than barkley. :lol

The favorite is Syracuse, imo, you look the statistics when it comes to getting beat or upset in the tournament, low turnover, slow pace teams tend to be the hardest to take out.

the opposite is true for a team like wisconsi; the reason those Bo Ryan wisconsin teams don't go far, if you have less talent, you need to speed the game up and get extra possions through turnovers and offensive rebounding, bo ryans teams aren't talented enough to be that conservative.

Looking at Ohio State's box score from last night...how does Amir Williams play 23 minutes and not grab a single rebound?

So soft.

To some degree, but I think teams that play slow, but also can score in bunches can tend to do the best. Pittsburgh/Wisconsin struggle to do that. 'Cuse can score with anyone so I think they have a good chance...same with Florida.

^ you think this team is better suited for the tourney than last years team?
Wait until you guys see Malachi.

Michigan State was my preseason pick so I'm sticking with them. They're consistently good on the defensive end, but this year they can actually score and push the pace. I still worry about the fact that Cuse struggles to shoot the three and I'm not sold on ****ey playing big minutes and making big shots in the tourney. Just my two cents.

St. John's vs. Creighton in the Garden on Sunday....Can't say how big a win would be here, give us that signature W and a chance to really make a run at the tourney down the stretch. Just wish we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot early in the season with the losses to Providence and Depaul :{

Going to sound like a total homer, but don't really care...

Cincy doesn't scare me. Napier was off, Daniels didn't play. We get them again in Hartford and in Memphis for the conference tourney. 2-1 when it is all said and done.
