The Combat Jack Show Thread

I'll Say it again but building a fanbase slowly>>>>>>> meteor rise 95% of the time. Especially in Today's climate where there's so many other ways to monetize your rap career.

Seems like those artist usually build more respect/relationships that way

Most of time those rappers that get hot quick are "liked" because of gimmicks or they got lucky with 1 or 2 songs. Lil Baby might the only dude recently that took off quick and his fans are loyal.

Even in his case it seemed like he already had a relationship with a lot of ATL's industry just off being outside & around doing his thing.

Just watched a Dave East drink champs & he's another dude that seems to be really well liked by a lot of the legends in the industry. Won't do much for sales/popularity but being able to make a call to a Snoop/Nas/MJB/Jada etc etc is a blessing in the industry where a lot of **** is determined by relationships.

Ice had a point, it depends on the demographic.

and they were buggin about DMX and Snoop

B Dot not naming Jada but naming other dudes who had no album was ridiculous. What was Gibbs biggest song of 2021? The one with Jada?
