THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Official Thread - 6/28 - TV Spot 10 on Last Page (More Selina Kyle)

One thing i never got was why was all those goons so loyal to bane. Like in the first part of the movie when bane told one of them to stay in the falling plane. Dude was like okay and didn't even think twice about it.

Nah, no version of Superman could exist in Nolans world. Anything super human or magical or meta just wouldn't exist. Nolan went out of his way to explain and make every gadget of Batmans make sense even to explain why his cowl has pointy ears.
MoS Superman might be slightly darker in origins than his other versions but he is still a super powered alien. Nolan never even considered the Lazarus pit or making Ra's immortal or making Bane inject venom to make him bigger and stronger because it isn't realistic.

This. Everything in Nolan's Batman World has a nice logical explanation.

The only thing that was really never explained was Joker's origin, and that's because of Heath's death.

You aren't supposed to know Joker's origin. Guy was just that crazy.

My guess is most are afraid while others just believed in him.

Remember that bit where Blakes friend from the orphanage was found dead from the sewers? He spoke to the brother (little kid) and he said people were getting jobs and life in the sewers and being kids, Bane might have taken them in and became like their father figure. Bane was part of the League of Shadows so he might know how Ra's got people to follow him.

How did Gordon-Levitt know where to find Commissioner Gordon in the sewer system? He literally went STRAIGHT to where he was.

I figured that was to show us his deductive skills and how he thought differently from the other cops. He knew where the water would end up and I guess had a hunch Gordon might be in the water so he went there.

Remember where the dead body they found by the sewers earlier in the film? Blake either assumed he could enter the sewer that way or that's where Gordon will end up if he gets washed up.

More of a Robin really, I guess he does represent almost all Robins being an orphan and all. He was more **** Grayson I guess since **** did become Batman for a little while in the comics and is the only Robin to wear the cowl.

Just saw it for a 3rd time, it gets better every time. Every actor brought their A game. Bane is a beast with so many quotable's.

Totally thought Nolan was going to end it with Alfred looking up nodding and smiling without seeing Bruce and Selina. lol. Great Movie. Can't wait for the Blu Ray to watch again.

Just saw it in IMAX it was a very good movie but probably my least favorite out of the three. I'll discuss more later when we can stop using spoilers

i was just thinking about this. After Bruce gets out of the pit, how does he get back into the isolated Gotham?

Yup, too many "fake" screens out there, don't be ripped off (use the link to find them):
700

google map locations:

Damint.

I just bought tix to a fake screen. Might have to cop some tix to a real screen a few more miles away. Gonna have to return my tix tho before that showing. :{

BTW, here is what I did to find TRUE IMAX screens.

Found this site: http://batcatpodcast.blogspot.com/2012/06/difference-between-real-imax-vs-fake.html

And then use the official IMAX website, which distinctly tells you whether it's a "Digital IMAX" or a 15/70 IMAX (which is the true one): http://www.imax.com/corporate/media...find-film-1570-and-digital-theatres-near-you/
