"The Last Dance" Michael Jordan & Chicago Bulls Docuseries

Never knew that. 13? Damn! The hell was he thinking?!
Probably that he's rich and famous so he could make it go away.

I get nothing but OJ vibes from Karl Malone.

Also the girl was 13 when she gave birth so it's a good chance Karl raped her when she was 12. Fam was getting his R. Kelly on.

I don't even know how to discuss something like that, or if it is even LEGAL to discuss it, other than it being a crime.

It seems that you were concerned, I addressed it. I'm chillin' like a mad villain over here.
No, it seems you hijack threads and turn them into something I'm guessing the OP didn't intend for the discussion to go. Just acknowledging that it seemed the thread had taken that turn, but not concerned friend. I'm good. Enjoy the episode tonight!

It's only generic to those who refuse to read, and then comprehend what Parker actually stated.

I do not understand why one would make the attempt at tactical stupidity, where basic intelligence can do the trick.

Btw, there is a glaring omission in that internal memo, regarding the names of the athletes who have spoken out against such issues.

Do you see a Micheal Jeffery Jordan in there anywhere?!

Or would you like to do that thing again? You know, taking someone's comments out of context, then inserting Jordan's name in there for Parker?!

Hilarious. I ask you for something specific and in detail when it comes to responsibility on Nike’s end and you give nothing specific in response. Just a bunch of generic, pie in the sky vague and non-descriptive answers. If that’s all you were going to do I would have preferred you to just say.....”let me pray on it and I’ll get back to ya”

Like I said earlier though......I appreciate ya champ, we need more like ya. I say we need more like you because where you fail to give a coherent and logical answer, there’s a lesson to be learned in your wavering. The lesson for NT for today is this.......if ever anyone is on here either complaining or saying somebody or an entity should have done something better, you make sure you ask them what specifically do they want done. If and when they are unable to give a response giving actually specifics like my brotha KHUFU KHUFU (he’s still my brotha whether he’s upset with me or not) is doing right now you know they are just talking in circles. When that happens you just tell that person.......bless your heart, and keep it moving.

Well, there is that report button. Glad that you are not concerned, even though the exhibited concern.

Everything discussed was included in The Last Dance documentary. Sorry to inform you of such.

Again, I do not think that your attempts at blaming others for your lack of comprehension is the right move. I can let those who are blissfully ignorant slide, for a quick minute. However, your willful ignorance is downright pitiful to encounter, especially when a well worded solution coming from the CEO of said company, is well within your midst. I'd expect my brotha to recognize that.

Do better, champ.

Team,

Like many of you, I’m struggling to make sense of the incomprehensible. We have experienced heartbreaking, disturbing and challenging times in the United States. I have watched with sorrow the events that took place across the U.S. The loss and pain experienced in Minnesota, Louisiana and Dallas have left communities, institutions and even the nation tested. Our thoughts are with all those impacted and their families and friends.

Nike has a long history of supporting the marginalized and those whose voice is not always heard. In many cases our athletes have eloquently argued for change and to stop the situation. Last night, at the ESPYs, we heard athletes like LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul powerfully speak out about the issues facing society. Others, like Serena Williams, have also made their voices heard.

As a company, I’m proud that Nike takes a stand on issues that impact all of us, our athletes and society as a whole. And I am proud that Nike stands against discrimination in any form. We stand against bigotry. We stand for racial justice. We firmly believe the world can improve. We are a diverse company and, as we stated in our recent Sustainable Business Report, are firmly committed to making it more diverse and inclusive.

We cannot solve all these profound, longstanding and systemic issues. However, one thing will always be clear: discrimination in any form and racial injustice are destructive forces. And talking about these issues can help find peace and paths forward. I firmly believe we are at our best when we engage and listen to those around us, in our communities at home and at work. It’s impossible to leave our emotions and experiences outside the work place – they inform us and make us who we are.

We don’t have the answers, but it’s important to try to talk about the issues we’re facing. Antoine Andrews, VP of Diversity and Inclusion, will work with the North American leadership team in the coming weeks to help facilitate meetings at WHQ and in our NY, Chicago and LA offices to allow us to talk about what we are facing together. Conversations don’t solve everything, but dialogue will help. Our voices matter. This is your company and we want you to be heard.

In difficult times, it’s important to speak up. We cannot change the past, but we can impact the future.

Thanks,

Mark Parker

I guess nobody noticed that there is a glaring omission here, not naming the number one money maker in the company.

The way this footage of the gane is shot is weird.

The zooming in, the way the camera pans to follow the ball, not capturing the entire court in frame.

Throwing me off. HD looks great though. I hope they're working on doing that to all NBA games capable of it. I was watching NBA tv and the Barkley and Iverson half hr specials were so grainy when it came to game highlights while interviews still looked good.

Not enjoying this whole zoom and shaky camera junk. They're doing too much with this last one. Should have just aired the game as it was. Hoop not even visible most the time and can't see the spread of the court. On court camera man has epilepsy.
