Rays put in some work, I would rather have Dunn but I'm sure Pat the Bat is a better price.

Bad mechanics yeah but not specifically to those examples he listed, it could be a whole range of things.
Its whatever though I'm not in the mood today, I'm just waiting for some football tomm.
How would you know? Honestly?
I have read so much about the subject, Tom Houses stuff, Mike Marshall's and Chris O'leary have produced so much information on the subject thatpitching injuries are no longer the mysterious thing that they are made out to be by the common baseball fan.
Heilmen is in the bullpen right now but it may delay his decline but at some point he is going to get injured. Their are some people who pitch for a long timewith borderline mechanics (Glavine and Pedro) but in the end it still comes to bite you eventually.
At this point I realized it's pure douche baggerey to go about mechanics like this so I'm going to stop.I will only bring it up when people make false claims or ignorantclaims.

Osh Kosh Bosh, you might've mentioned it before, but what do you think about Lincecum's mechanics? I've read the SI article and all the other stuff about his mechanics, but I was just interested to see what you thought about it.
A while back I made a thread where claimed that "Tim Lincecum has the perfect mechanics". Upon further examination that that statementfalls apart. Tim Lincecum is the best at what he does, which is efficiency. Getting the ABSOULUTE most out of every fibre in you're body, as I've saidmany times you pitch with your body and NOT with your arm. Tim usese his 175 pounds to the abousulte fullest.
You see the abount of tilt he gets?? When you combine that with a rediculous stride (longer than his hieght), max effort, high tempo and his sweeping leg plantyou get 98 mph. Tim is a certified beast.(I drafted him with last pickof my fantasy draft.) Also people tend to make the point about the plunging thing he does with his arm and call it wild. This is wrong, Gregg Maddux used theplunge, Tom Glavine used a plunge David elss used a plung, they it's pretty common among pitchers and it won't affect his long term health.
The Bad?
The number one rule about a healthy arm action is your pitching arm has to be vertical by the time your foot hits the ground and your hips and shoulders beingto rotate.
You can see hear his arm is not vertical causing the him to rotate hard with the rest of his body putting stress on the elbow and shoulder. It's not a hugeconceren, some pitchers like Tom Glavine and Pedro had the same very borderline arm action and pitched realativly injury free till the end of their career whenthey started breaking down. The only probalem with that is Timmy is a MAX EFFORT pitcher who employs a much faster tempo this could accelerate the deeriorationof his shoulder/elbow.
Final Verdict: I would be slightly worried his problem is not as severe but it would lead to problems down the line.
Milton Bradley Signs With Cubs
By Tim Dierkes [January 5 at 3:10pm CST]
According to ESPN Radio's Bruce Levine, the Cubs signed Milton Bradley to a three-year, $30MM contract "with some options in the deal." Bradley, 31 in April, had a monster .321/.436/.563 line this year for the Rangers, but he spent only 165 innings in the field. This is the first multiyear deal of his career. If he stays healthy, the switch-hitter will give the Cubs balance in the middle of their order.

KLJ is gona lose it when he sees what Pat went for...
Man...
To be fair, though, I'm not even sure we have $8 million to shell out right now.
7. David Dellucci 3,750,000 9. Masahide Kobayashi 3,000,000 11. Jamey Carroll 2,150,000
I'll give Haf a chance to redeem himself before I complain about his contract, too.
We definitely need to add an arm, but I have no idea who.
