The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- Cannonier, Imavov, Reyes, Rosas on NOW

Give him one of the Koreans

Kinda wish they gave BJ Zombie, he wouldn't have gotten so destroyed I think

If somebody was cranking on my 39 year old neck and I was only making 50k I'd prob tap with the quickness too.

chael been wrestling/submission grappling way too long to be making that simple mistake
no way was he gassed out trying to apply that darce choke

it was like here's the plan...

tito you be aggressive and go for a takedown
chael will defend and apply a submission which you fight out of near the brink of defeat only to win with your own submission
just dont hurt each other

maybe, i've watched enough old pride fights and listened to bas talk about guys taking dives but it just seemed "off"

how many ppl laid money on tito 1st rd submission 8o

I mean Bellator's track record speaks for itself. Certainly not the first suspect bout, and certainly not the last.

It is what it is. They keep squandering opportunities to grab greater market share and really legitimize themselves as a true competitor for the UFC.

JDS vs Stipe in the works for 211 in Dallas although Ariel saying its quite far from being done.

On another note. Does any one have the UFC Fight Pass? Is it worth the $10. I feel I can watch mostly any fight on Youtube, but do like the mobility of watching matches.

I like how Junior has spaced his fights out the past few years. Whether or not that's by design, I'm happy for his him and his health. Those Cain fights had to take years off his life, not to mention the first time he fought Stipe and the KO loss to Reem

Cain (L)- October 2013

Stipe (W)- December 2014

Overeem (L)- December 2015

Rothwell (W)- April 2016

Stipe rematch?- May 2017

Once a year is good for these heavyweights. Their brains are probably mush.

if you're a fighter get in, make as much as possible and get out

It's impossible to get in and get out if you're not Conor or Ronda

That's not how it works and that's not how the organization is structured to work. That's why it's important for the champs and the contenders to voice their concerns about pay. The cycle will never end

Just read this article on ESPN. Michael McDoanld has to work a 2nd job and save money for training camp before he can accept another fight. He also already lost his home and had to move back in his parents' house. But he still loves fighting and will continue to fight. He's in no way complaining, but I thought it was an interesting read to see things from a fighter's POV.

Sad just sad

Lucky him he has parents and his apparent intelligence to fall back on

Once guys start going on major win streaks and putting on shows they should be compensated. Fighters being more vocal is where it starts

Yeah, agreed 100%. He definitely has to be more vocal, get healthy and get a nice winning streak together.
