The NBA Draft Thread

Literally everyone was talking about Thon's age being up in the air. Milwaukee was obviously aware of this and decided to draft him regardless...

Excel Sports has their entire fingerprints over the Bucks organization.

Brown seems like a good coach. Will be fun to see what he can do with an actual team.

Kinda reminds me of when Shabazz Muhammad's age being brought up was an issue when he was going to UCLA.

Shabaaz was only a year older than he was supposed to be.

This makes Thon maker 4-5 years older than he claims. That's a lot :lol. That yearbook photo was pretty damn incriminating. Is it conformed that that's a High School graduating class of 2010? It could be middle school...which would put him at about 19 today.

Thon and his handlers couldn't be this oblivious. Thon's timeline is a Lil funny. Cause he came on the scene in 2011 as a 14yr old 8th grader at John Lucas camp.

And it's fkcd up how people will wait til he's about to be drafted...to surface with this story. Dude has been on the scene for a min. Some people just don't wanna see you win man :{

The "team" around him is FUNNY, I hope the best for him but he got some real shady **** going on his camp.

I find it IMPOSSIBLE to believe that Thon Maker fooled the Australian government into giving him a born in 1997 visa. :lol

Because these reddit stories are alleging that he got to Australia with papers that said he was born in 1994 and he was somehow able to get documents saying he was born in 1997.

and if he somehow forge documents, he was able to use those documents to fool both the American and Canadian governments.

Cmon son. :lol

I got tons of extended family coming from africa trying to get british/usa/canadian passports, **** is not a joke. I could believe it if his age changed in Sudan. but not in a 1st world countyr like australia,

Don't really see how the winner isn't Ben or Buddy. Their usage is going to be through the roof.

dog if his camp, that Ed Smith guy managed to pull off,

1. somehow fooling a first world government in 2016 to issuing new paper work saying he was born in 1997 when he entered the country with 1994 papers.

2. getting him into 2 other first world countries with these bogus documents.

3. Get him into EYBL, the most heavily covered AAU league in the world and somehow avoid any evidence of his phony age coming up untill draft night.

4. turning him into a VIRAL SENSATION with over 8 million views on youtube and still not a peep of evidence comes out untill draft night.

This is beyond shady aau handler stuff, dude needs to get hired by the CIA. :lol

Ed Smith (thon maker guardian) says the year book photo is not a high school year book.

There is just no way Thon Maker is 22-23.

That would be a horrible bet

Really?

I don't see how, Embiid has more talent than anybody in this draft class, as long as his foot/back don't betray him I don't see how he isn't the best player from this class, if we considering this his class.

He's missed 164 out of a possible 164 games & you're gonna bet that he's gonna play enough games next year to get the award?

Nah man.

I really really really hope he can just to see what he & Simmons can do over the next decade. That's the most talented rookie duo we've ever had in the league.
