The NBA Draft Thread

Rule of thumb in summer league.

You CAN'T tell who can play

but you can sometimes tell who CAN'T play.

Looks like Jaylen is on the can't side.

This Caruso kid is throwing the ball everywhere but his teammates' hands. :lol

Brett Brown's Boston accent is awesome.

Christian Wood was acting a fool in the pre draft process and went from potential 1st rounder to undrafted.

Looks like thst humbled him, playing with much more force this year.

I definitely like Jaylen Brown's aggressiveness. Doesn't have a ton of definable skills, but kept attacking and got to the line a lot. Not sure he'll be able to do that against actual NBA players though...

NBATV playing OKC-CHA with no NBA prospects on the floor instead of Philly-Boston. Ofcourse.

If u in Philly its on the other Comcast Sportsnet channel...Ben only got 4 off all free throws but hes been cool for the most part. TJ kinda doin his thing. Christian Wood is horrible. Game summary for the 6ers right there lol

TJ was a classic case of playing valuable mins in the regular season and looking cool, comfortable and in control in SL. Kid vison was on point all day. I like Holmes too, kid can play.

Yup had a feeling he would do good against them cuz of those exact reasons. Its like when a guy breaks out in the playoffs & then makes the next step in the following season

And yea Holmes looked good too but we gotta grab some boards & actually catch the ball lol

Timothe looked good at times too btw

Prior to the game, Simmons talked about dealing with players who see him as a measuring stick and try their best to out-perform him.

I asked Simmons what does he do to guard against trying to do too much against players who may be looking to make a name for themselves against him.

“Win” was Simmons’ initial response to my question.

A reported asked him his thoughts about Kevin Durant agreeing to play for the Golden State Warriors after spending the past nine seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

“I play for Philly, so,” Simmons said with a smile. “I play for Philly.”

I love this kid already.

Killer mentality in this one. I can feel it.

Brown is going to be a player.

Any kid his size with his handle/explosion to the rim is going to succeed especially in the environment he's stepping into and the coaching he will have.
