So if the lottery were today, it would look like this:

1.Philly
2.Boston (Brooklyn)
3.Dallas
4.Suns
5.Minny
6.Miami
7.New Orleans
8.Philly (Lakers)

If Philly gets number 1, it's a no-brainer that they land Fultz and either Malik Monk of Tatum at 8.
Boston should either get Josh Jackson or Giles (since they can risk it) or just trade their pick + other assets for a star player. Maybe PG 13 if that's at all available and Pacers to start a clean rebuild.
Dallas should take the next best PG, people are high on Dennis Smith but I really like Fox's game.
Minny should trade that pick + Rubio for a solid veteran. The Butler opportunity has shipped. I can only think of solid rotation players but can't think of an allstar that may be available.

Monk is shooting 40% on 8 threes a game right now :lol he can play with anyone, anywhere. On ball, off-ball, don't matter

Fultz also has range. So having "1 ball only" is the last thing Philly should worry about.

Also, having multiple ball handlers in the lineup has always been a plus. The issue comes in when those ball handlers aren't a threat from deep.

Aye who would have thunk that Zach Lavine would have been a better player, than Andrew Wiggins, I didn't, yet here we are.

Like I said in another thread, I got a process with how I look at the draft, and I think it serves me well for the most part, I'm always on the record with my stances on players so you could can always make fun of the times I've been loud wrong. You have every right too it given how much oi an *** I can be. :lol

I try to check in on guys in HS follow development to college and make projections based on analytics, historical president, and eye test...

If there is one course correction I might make is I probably I am a little too hard on "fake point gaurds", I've been loud wrong on Eric Bledsoe, Lavine.

Hezonja and Exum I don't really see where I messed up process wise, other than I maybe let big FIBA performances as 16 and 17 years old stick in my mind head too much. Other than that, sometimes guys don't develop, / get hurt/ are busts.

Dog.....there was no need to type all of that.

All you could've said was "I was wrong about so and so".

I swear, ***** on NT just can't say....."I was wrong" :lol. It really isn't hard man.

i've alreay said that in the NBA thread.

Figured I'd go into more detail in the draft thread as this is an internet forum about basketball.

I enjoy process and details, so I enjoy interegating my own thinking as it relates to the draft, feel free to not read, no ones forcing you too. :lol

U Def put too much stock into the fiba performances for those 2 ...can't blame you cuz it's hard to compare the level of play overseas...but if u look back Exum came straight from Australian high school n Mario was on the bench for his euro team ...at least a guy like kristaps was gettin mins on his squad even if they weren't that good

nah Mario was getting minutes with barcelona, put up like an 18 PER as a 18 year old, 17 PER as 19 year old.

For a perimeter player in the toughest non NBA league in the world that's really good, I watched those games, he was really good.

The real problem was his low FTA rate, which I chalked up to, overconfidence as a jump shooter and Euro coaches not letting young guys shine, turns out he legit can't create good shots.

Exum got hurt, and I still don't feel bad about that one, he got hurt and the draft involves thin slicing it, you are projecting either way, if he went to college he would have destroyed college. So whaat new things would we have really learned?

maybe he goes 7 instead of 5, but tought to think a prospect with his tools was going much lower, even if he did play college.

With Mario you coulda seen he's not that great with the ball tho , didn't need analytics or stats to tell me that ...his handle was effective enough overseas but nothing that screamed it would work in the NBA ...that's his problem now if it ain't an open 3 he can't do ****

Exum hype would be less if he played in another league besides the Aussie high school one ...his rookie year was anything that would lead u to think he would be special even when he was healthy

Philly about to be the most exciting young team in the L after this draft. A Fultz, Monk, Simmons, Embiid, Okafor, Saric, Noel team :x

Obviously too many bigs so they'll move Okafor/Noel to better balance out the roster or maybe trade for a veteran. Hinkie died for this
