The NBA Draft Thread

Have to see how Simmons is shooting from deep.

If he can't yet. The spacing would be atrocious.
For sure. Say they draft Lonzo Ball and Malik Monk, combine them with Embiid's ability to step out, and I think it could work...

At this point in time, Noel's value is at its lowest and the sixers have no bargaining power.

Discussing a sign and trade this summer would be their best option by far as Noel will prove his value, the ping pong balls are set and we will have a semi decent idea of who will be available for us to draft.

I love noel's game and think he ca worm with Embiid for short stretches. But Noel will want to start and get started minutes. I don't see how Philly can grant him that with Embiid.

I vote to trade Embiid this summer and keep Oak as the backup scoring center until he proves he is more than a one trick pony.

You think Ball will fit with that team? Having a Jason Kidd and a tall prime Rondo might not work so well. Or can it?

I assume you mean trade Noel this summer? Not Embiid :lol

He's a highly intelligent player and can really catch and shoot well. I think that he could shoot around 40% from 3 in the league, similar to what he's doing now. Half of the shots he takes are from NBA range anyways. The biggest issue I have with him is that he isn't a great scorer off the dribble, but with Simmons on the court, he could play off ball. I think that it can work.

I'm gonna need a response from you ASAP explaining that you meant to say trade Noel instead of Embiid.

Think about it, Embiid's stock is as high as it will ever be plus he's on a rookie contract. Imagine if we can land the Boston pick for him :Nthat

lol of course it's a typo!

Also, I'd much rather have Ball than Dennis Smith.

I just see too much of Bledsoe in Smith and I was never a fan of PGs where athleticism is their main asset. Having Ball, Embiid, Saric, and Simmons on the team will make Philly one of the most unselfish teams in the league. It will be fun to watch.

What's scary is that Boston has a chance in nabbing Gordon Hayward in free agency AND Fultz in the draft. :x

If they play their cards right, they can be contenders as soon as next year and stay that way for the next 15...damn.
They have the inside lane on Hayward. I feel like he'll sign with them or the hornets(again). And Gordon is exactly what both those teams need.

I'd love him, but he'd be leaving too much money on the table by leaving Utah.

Also, yeah, Ball is a much better fit in Philly then Dennis Smith is.

Even though it may be true Hayward will make more eon Utah, he said that he will prioritize a championship over anything else.

"It comes down to where I can compete for a title," he said. "Where I live -- that doesn't affect me. The limelight doesn't matter to me. I just want to make a run at it."

The hornets will be great, but he might as well stay in Utah as they are much closer to becoming contenders that the hornets.

Since when did Youtube videos start playing previews when you mouseover them? They stole that from ****hub but I'm glad

Okay I just finally noticed what you said in black when I quoted this.

I would not trade Embiid for anything or anybody right now. I don't care what anybody has to say about that.

Trade Embiid?! You crazy fam? Embiid is a transcendent talent at the C position, you don't trade that for a draft pick no matter how good it is.

Fultz looked great last night 8o

Im ready to say that Brandon Ingram is some mid. He'll be one of those "has potential" players for a long time but he's just not that good.

jesus bruh hes 30 games into his rookie year.

I'm playing lol he's played better this month. Those first 2 months were very ugly though. Still don't think he's gunna be anything special but he'll be in the NBA for a long time and have a solid career.

Is it a coincidence that the Sixers have won 5 of 6 games with Jah out and Noel in the rotation?

Also with the Wolves winning three in a row and Sixers winning, it looks like Fultz will go to Boston. :{
