Cool thing to say? You're a wack +!@ DJ so stay in your lane. They had a chance to put on a good show but they blew it. CNN, E! and a wholehost of networks followed the show but they put out this crap.A re-enactment of Baby Boy? Are you kidding me?Everyone who was on Twitter/Facebook/MySpace lastnight said it was painful to watch. Ever since Bob Johnson sold the network to Viacom it went downhill. You can call me elitist or self-righteous all you wantbut that doesn't change the fact. It seems as if only people in your age group approve of what was shown tonight. Anyone who had sense was turned off bywhat they saw.
Don't use the overhaul as an excuse. They didn't have to overhaul the show. They could have had a 20-30 minute segment dedicated to Michael but insteadruined the show by changing everything at the last minute.

Why did you watch then? This is the BET awards. What you see is what you get. You know what you're getting before you go in yet you continued to watch it?Anytime I feel offended by entertainment I don't even turn the +%# on. Yet, people felt so offended they talked about it on Twitter and kept watching.
And yea they did have to overhaul the show. The whole damn show was about Mike. You think it was like that 2 days prior? Then they had to fit in thatO'Jay's tribute. That show was doomed from the get go and they came out looking decent. If you cats want to see a boring award show where blacksreceive praise go watch the NAACP awards. BET isn't changing. Especially with the ratings being as big as they were last night.

Naw I mean radio and TV. If Hov didn't want Ether being played or any of Nas' video's being played the networks would've road with Hov. He wasthe platinum seller at the time. As far as Summer Jam goes I think I remember Nas or someone not being able to perform. I thought it was Jim Jones or Cam butit probably was further back when Nas and Jay were beefing.

I had a few beefs with the show.... the lack of emotion in some of the performances...
and of course not having Breezy in the MJ tribute...but Jay was shining last nite pause...when he performed DOA %@#$ was poppin...
the video straight too, got that whole 99 Problems feel to it...all and all good show...but they could have done better..
New Edition was horrendous...Tevin Campbell looking old as %%@%...
Young Money performance was lame juice...Beyonce was singing some opera %@#$
Don Cornelius took about a half hour to present to the O'Jays

He did blackball him on the radio why do you think NaS went on that tirade for people to rob Flex for his chain, and Angie Martinez been slobbing Jay so sherode with him... the only one from Hot 97 that kept if funky and played both were KaySlay for sure, but I also believe Clue and Absolute too because they werefrom Queens.
Hot 97 was riding with Jay and I believe, but not sure about this, Power 105 was now starting up so they rode with NaS...
He really tried hard to get Ether to stop playing once his second diss song flopped hard, but it was to late and Ether was already the diss of choice as wellas NaS being the choice as victor, well at least in NYC.
