That’s great that Fournette contributed to winning a couple of regular season games before consistently disappointing and being injured for the rest of his rookie contract. Think maybe Mahomes or Watson could have had a bigger impact? Not sure though.
That's revisionist history though. We were only a season removed from a 4200 yd , 35 TD season from Bortles. A running back was a glaring need.

They was no way the Jags were drafting a new QB at that point.

Leonard fournette averaged less than 4 yards per carry his first 2 season in the league and the jaguars fan is pushing drafting RBs

especially when Jamal adams, Patrick mahomes, marathon lattimore and deshaun Watson are within the picks right after he was drafted

.....Fournette was the main reason they made the playoffs?

Bro their defense was beyond dominant that year. In fantasy football they were putting up like 20+ points every single week for most of the season. Putting up QB type of numbers.
I know you love looking at fantasy stats, but our offense was 5th in the league that year also....

One of the players you mentioned, is not like the others

In cmc’s only playoff game, Jonathan Stewart had more carries.. he also averaged under 4 yards per carry that season.. for the season, cmc was 3rd in rush attempts on the team

AGAIN, at that point we had unknown Bortles at QB, and we had Jalen Ramsey AND AJ Bouye, 2 PRO BOWLERs, why would we draft DB?

the leading 2 rushers in the league last year, both taken in the 2nd

Chris Carson, a 7th round pick in the same draft as fournette had a better year than fournette

Last year, before reinserting Foles into the starting position and he lost us 3 games in a row, Fournette lead the AFC in rushing yards and DJ Chark lead the AFC in receiving yards.

A terrible QB hurt the team.

Also, I love how you conveniently didn't say the Top 10 in rushing had 4 1st RBS, 1 1st QB, 4 2nd round RBs.... and your 7th rounder.

In the top 50 rushers last year, the 1st round picks

cmc: 3rd
Zeke: 4th
Lamar: 6th (QB)
Fournette: 7th
Jacobs: 8th
Ingram: 14th (new team)
Barkley: 16th
Michel: 17th (under 4 yards per carry)
AP: 18th (on his 4th team)
Gurley: 20th (was cut and averaged under 4 yards per)
Gordon: 32nd (under 4 yards per)
Kyler: 35th (a QB)
Allen: 38th (also technically a QB)
Deshaun: 48th (a QB)

fournette’s 2 seasons before last year, he averaged 3.9 yards per carry and then 3.3

Also had pretty bad/inconsistent QB play those years as well. Easy for teams to stack the box when you know the passing game isn’t effective.

Good thing fournette was drafted ahead of mahomes and deshaun then

1. We didn't know what we had in Bortles
2. Mahomes had the privilege of sitting a year behind Alex Smith & had YOUR guy, "the QB whisper", Andy Ried as his coach
3. Deshaun had a top 3 receiver at his disposal
4. The Texans AND Chiefs where playoff teams the previous year

Being drafted by Doug Marrone, sitting behind Blake Bortles and your number being Marqise Lee, those guys wouldn't have the same career

Leonard Fournette led the league in rushing attempts vs. 8-man boxes

that would seem to be an honor that should go to Derrick Henry a long with his rushing title:

Talk about the 2017 season you bring up the 3.9 rushing yard average
