i would think the Chargers would have to keep all three guys (TyFraud, Herbie, and Kaep) if they were to sign Kaep. could see that potentially as a small roadblock but i hope they give him a shot

1. Your avy is hilarious.

2. Personally I don't think so, He's doing so much outside of football now. Plus why would you want to help a league that did you so dirty? Mans is not tryna play.
People around him say he still wants to play. Football is still one his passions. He loves football and it was stripped from him. He wants to get back out on a field and rightfully so.

IF he comes back, i hope it's under certain circumstances.. like ravens with greg roman would be a good one

zero pressure to play unless lamar gets hurt and they have good pieces there

Made the same case with the Chiefs. Clear back up behind Mahomes and Reid signed a 'controversial' QB, Mike Vick after the dog fighting.

Really though is that what Kaep is going for? To be a back up? Is he even a legit starting QB? If I'm an owner and I sign Kaep what am I going to get? The guy who almost won a SB or the the guy the last time we saw him he lost his job to Blaine Gabbert. Sure a team that signs him will get an instant boost of fan and national support but wait until he is the second or third string. Then the backlash will start from all sides for whether he should play or not. Nothing short of him leading that team to a SB will satisfy the folks that have been calling for him to get a second chance. Strictly from a football standpoint and everything that could come with signing him I'm not sure if the good out weights the potential negative.

how high is the bar on this?

just seen something about him being a potential trade target for us

also saw this

the bar is low but that graphic should give you a good idea. he's solid. played next to back up LT and C all year basically.

Not really. Many of us Kaep supporters would be happy if he’s just on a roster. 1st string, 2nd or 3rd string doesn’t matter I’m coppping Kaep Jersey where he signs.

The Jets and other teams were targeting Thuney before he got tagged :smh:

Sucks what happened to Brandon Brooks

None of the people I know who want Kap in the league would be happy with him being a 3rd string player.

Having Kap as third stringer, even a second stringer is going to open a whole bunch of debates:
"They only have him in the league to hit quota"
"They only brought him cause Roger said so"
"They only brought him in because they wanted to sell tickets"

Legit anything outside of a starting role is going to be a disaster for him. Then when he gets in that role can you imagine the scrutiny he will face? Every play will be magnified ten fold.

I'm not saying it's right or warranted cause it's not. He should have been in the league several years ago, it's just the continued reality of the situation.

Also, no one is saying "make Kap a starter", you mean to tell me those pushing for Kap in the league are going "Make Kap a back up? Make Kap a clipboard holder"? Don't see it.
