I don’t think it will be a big deal

I think like with Vick and Tebow it will be a thing, but it all depends on how the team and the people involved deal with it

it’s like with trump.. people make way too much of that crowd

the league could have just ignored dude, but certain owners made him a bigger deal than he actually is.. they had first hand knowledge of dude specifically burning out with football and overplaying his hand.. they went from cutting dude out from the bills to allowing him to get them in problems and do dumb shh

if the league took a look at the eagles with the whole White House visit, they would be a whole lot better off

there are way too many examples with the league of stories only being a story until the games are played and they have something else to talk about

league made a martyr of dude and made their bed on some many levels

Let Kaepernick throw a couple picks & it'll be "See, that's why he was out of the league". Or if he turns down an offer it'll be "He doesn't even want to play".

He has nothing to gain & everything to lose.

this fool dont get some of the QBs that been getting 3rd, 4th and 5th chances

As a Niner fan, I feel like I can speak to this,

Kaap was the hottest thing smoking in the league at one point

Harbaugh let his nuts hang a threw his young *** in there, and what we saw was fast *** QB with a rocket launcher attached to his shoulder.

Was he perfect? Hell Nah. My man had no touch.

But after Jim and Jed butted heads it was downhill from there.

Jim is a great HC but he's also a mess... we're seeing that now at Michigan.

We coulda had Peyton but dude is an ego monster, and I'll leave it at that.

He was the perfect coach for Kaep, low key we were doing exactly what the Ravens are doing now. (shout out to Greg Roman)

Exhibit A

The biggest thing I take away from kaep’s success with the 9ers and now lamar’s success..

and then looking at the circumstances of why he was fired from the bills

zero clue how Greg Roman isn’t a bigger name for a HC gig

Because he decides to throw the ball 4x from the goal line in the super bowl instead of handing it off to his hall of fame back.

I mean Kyle kinda is working out for y’all after how his last gig as an OC went

Kaep should do what he wants because the bigots, racists and biscuit boys will attack him no matter what he does..play or doesn't play (ya'll remember how ppl lost their **** over the "workout")

If he finds peace in getting back in the league in any capacity so be it

If he comes back and plays great so be it.

If he sits on the bench and kneels every game so be it

If he starts and plays horrible so be it. This is bigger than his performance at this point

He's been vilified for years, I wouldn't let that stop him

Kaep been out for 3 years. It would be close to impossible to come back after all that time missed and still be good. That's what makes what the NFL did so f'ed up. You whiteballed this man from his profession for years all because he spoke up about racism, nothing else. We don't wanna hear **** about his play.

We've seen the league recycle bums over and over. Jay Cutler chubby *** was at the crib and the Dolphins called him up to throw more INT's. Mr. Run Outta Bounds Orlovsky was signed. Ryan Mallett, Sanchez, Mr. Pick 6 Matt Schaub was still hangin around. Kaep was a couple yards from winning a SB. There was a lot of teams that coulda used Kaep back in 2017 and 18 but now a lot of those teams drafted and signed their future QB's. NFL you don't get a do-over in denying somebody work. What's done is done.

that’s why I think it would be zero issue for the non stupid people if he came in as a 2nd or 3rd string guy, if he was up for it

like with Vick after his time off with prison

but ain’t like dude has been injured or like Vick in a very limited situation to properly workout and diet

Now that I remember Vick is a good example

technically he as the 3rd string guy behind mcnabb and kolb initially, was able to get his feet under him a bit.. then kolb was technically supposed to be that starter in the 2nd year, but he took the job when kolb went down

Vick and Kap aren't good comparisons.

One ****** himself over.

The other got ****** by the league.

I love Kaep too much to see him come back.

People would be foaming at the mouth to see him fail.

Andrew Luck was a pantheon prospect and I think he'd have a rough start coming back after only a year off.

I’m not comparing the reasons why they were out of the league

but Vick was out of the league for 2 years and in a worse situation

as I said above, kaep hasn’t been injured (like numerous QBs who miss a year and take more time for their bodies to get right) or had workout and/or diet restrictions (as Vick had in prison)

id argue it’s harder to come back from an injury.. you gotta readjust to the speed of things after significant time off AND your body might never be back to what it was when you last played

Son, that prison diet had Vick looking THICC and running a 4.6

them couple snaps he was getting initially were ROUGH

hurt seeing dude not able to get that edge
He was so damn close to an MVP.

Yall got bad luck with that lmao.

Foles the first go round, Vick and Wentz... that's tough.

Literally what does that have to do with it?
Having Kap as third stringer, even a second stringer is going to open a whole bunch of debates:
"They only have him in the league to hit quota"
"They only brought him cause Roger said so"
"They only brought him in because they wanted to sell tickets"

Legit anything outside of a starting role is going to be a disaster for him. Then when he gets in that role can you imagine the scrutiny he will face? Every play will be magnified ten fold.

I'm not saying it's right or warranted cause it's not. He should have been in the league several years ago, it's just the continued reality of the situation.

Also, no one is saying "make Kap a starter", you mean to tell me those pushing for Kap in the league are going "Make Kap a back up? Make Kap a clipboard holder"? Don't see it.
Who is saying make Kaep a clipboard holder? People are simply hoping Kaep gets a “job”.

I get the comparison. Both missed a lot of time.

The thing is what Vick did was super rare. That was like some movie **** to go from 3rd string to MVP candidate. Man played the best football of his career.

That’s not true though. Most people know why he wasn’t in the league. The MAGAs will be the ones criticizing him.

chip goin chip was worst for Vick and foles to a degree..

But once Vick got a proper offseason, dude was straight.. just sucks Andy had his personal stuff going.. and then chip went chip

it’s rare.. but I think it’s doable just because kaep has continued working out.. don’t think he’d could or should come in and start

but Vick looked rough initially and it makes sense cause dude couldn’t work out like that and was on that prison diet.. but it gave him time as a backup with Andy

that’s why I would only want dude to go to the right team
