i still cant get over how atrocious "hate" and "venus vs mars" are. i thought he was gonna go in on "venus" since i like thebeat, and the first 2 lines made me skip the track....
this cd needed some hitmen backed tracks, the production on AG was smooth as @#$%

He said a line in one of the songs about "if you like the old him then go cop one of his old albums". I'm really at a loss of words on how badthis album turned out to be. Kanye and Jay-Z should never ever work together again while Ye' is in this whole minimal/808 stage. The results are hilarious.And sad.

Yo is it me or after looking back at some of the tracks on this a lot of the songs lyric wise are about the same similar random shhh? Outside of songs withsome type of topic like Venus vs. Mars, A Star Is Born and a few others these other tracks consist of many verses in the same lane. Revolving around him notgoing back to his old style, taking shots at dudes he had w/e problem with, talk about him being grown and all that. This goes for the good and bad songs.
Now that I dwell on them songs like Thank You, Already Home, Hate, On To The Next One, As Real As It Gets, etc. just are on the same shhh topic wise.
Nothing really creative on this joint.
Maybe it'd make more sense if you put the lyrics to these songs next to each other.
