i changed the port on ichat and it worked, but mail cannot reach any imap or pop servers

Mine came in today.



<3 Time Machine. Transferred everything from my Blackbook to my new MBP in about 15 minutes. I'm loving it so far! Gotta get used to this glossy screenthough.
 
Just picked up a 13 inch pro today, my first mac. Loving it so far, but obviously a bit lost as to how to use it and stuff... Can anyone give me some generaltips and useful shortcuts? Also tips on how to change the bar at the bottom and all that stuff... im clueless haha. Thanks!
 
having a little trouble with my imac. Just added some memory 4gb now but its seems to still be going slow. sometimes i get some circle ball with various colorsits like the hourglass on a windows pc. I never had to load up anyting before but now i have to load up apps even webpages. any help?

Nice man. I myself got the non-Pro version released late last year, love it even though they pulled a quick one on me with that update out ofnowhere lol.. What's good with your Blackbook what you gonna do with it?
 
whats M$ gonna do with their laptop hunters ad campaign now Apple's MBP line is sub-$2000?

my macbook just went down.. it's 2 years old, so i donno if that has anything to do with it. the hd went out about 4-5 months ago, but that was an easyswap and i believe i got a decent one, so i don't think that's the problem.. but it's doing the same thing it did last time.. i try to start it butit just stays at the apple start up screen with the scroll wheel spinning underneath. i cannot figure out what's wrong.. any ideas? i believe i'm goingto take it to the apple store, how much do they charge to just take a look at it? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks all..

I doubt they charge anything just to look at it.

I'm a female btw & I'm giving my Blackbook to my sister. Everytime I had to go to the Apple store to get something replaced (battery,hard drive, palm rest cracked) I kept looking at the aluminum Macbooks. Fast forward to Monday, I debated with myself for about 5 minutes and just got it.$1,099 with a free ipod touch and a free printer.
 
I wish Safari was completely compatible with yuku... When I post, everything is missing

Ok, people. I've just gotten my Mac back after my Hard-drive crashed last friday. Bought it Mid 07. Has anyone had this problem? Apple fixed for free butI'm left with a buttnekkid Mac.

did u ask them to see if they could recover any data? not sure if that'd be covered under their warranty though. but the only thing i can tell you is, getan external HDD and set up time machine.
