Who said that? Clev usually runs a set similar to this, but there's someone who cuts into the paint and the ball eventually gets to the opposite corner. LeBron knew someone was open there (Irving).

On the last page it was suggested twice that lbj passed the ball due to Currys great d. Or "clamps"

Lebron really needs to stop holding the ball so much. It's like he refuses to catch and go.

He gives the d an opportunity to relax and figure out their next moves / rotations. Smh

when did bron get so scared of shooting a wide open 3? iggy and barnes gave him all the space in the world to shoot the 3 and he was scared of pullin the trigger..

GSW looked like they could get a great shot every time they had the ball.

Cavs team defense. All those times when the Warriors got an open dunk/layup while you have two Cavs players pointing at each other, like trying to say "that was your man".

Cavs effort was all bark, no bite tonight. Throwing themselves after loose balls, etc. but on an average defensive play they fall asleep and allow easy shots.

Exactly

"there are too many idiots on the Internet." - chuck

There was a possession in the first quarter where James had Curry on the block in the weak side and he swung the ball to Love in the corner for an open 3. Love missed the shot.

There was also another possession where Iggy got the deflected ball from an alley oop attempt and pushed all the way into the paint, but pulled out. Love completely lost Ezeli and JR Smith got caught watching Klay which lead to an open Ezeli cutting into the basket.

Let's also not forget to mention all the points Livingston got on Irving. I swear, this dude is so bad on the defensive end. He didn't even put a hand up.

The Cavs do not communicate on defense.

cavs had 0 trasition points tonight. 0. as in...ZERO.

Well, most teams in the NBA (especially ones with LeBron) score in transition off turnovers. The Warriors "only" turned the ball over 9 times. Not an excuse, but that does play a role.

Great win for the squad doing this with both splash brothers cold tonight.

Hope this stops the "it's arguable that Cleveland has more talent than the Warriors" talk :smh:

i am 100% with you. my biggest criticism of lebron is that he is much much much too passive.

and yes

the cavs havent fully worked out the kinks of what their game paln is on defense is exactly (outside of klay and curry).

however, they (the team, not one individual) did a great job on curry and klay thompson ALL GAME.

rotations need to improve for the cavs as well. lebron was on the bench at the beginning of the 4th and watched a lead go from 6 to 14 before he checked back in.

kyrie also had a horrible game offensively.

My hypothetical question is...

If Cavs lose, what does it do to Lebron's legacy?

If Warriors win, What does it do to Curry's legacy if he dont win the Final's MVP again?

You must be new to watching the NBA. They gave him that space for a reason. Lebron has never been a good shooter. In fact, his perimeter shooting FG % this year was the worst of his entire career

Wow both questions are actually very interesting and both legacies would have to take a hit.

Nothing and nothing

Bron will go down as a top 5-10 player of all time. But plenty of people will ask what if LeBron had better coaching

Curry will forever be remembered for his incredible shooting and how he changed the NBA.

idk. he shot pretty great in miami. especilly 2014 iirc. He was damn near as good of a player as Monta that year.

depends on who you ask...

for the lbj haters? theres nothing he can do to win favor. he could win the next 5 titles in a row. makes no difference

to the lebron "stans"? he can do no wrong.

as for curry?

he is what he is...an absolutely explosive offensive force that was well game planned for. but he'll be given all the credit for the win. just like he was in the thunder series

IMO

never a good shooter? you must have just started watching the nba this season because he could knock down that outside shot pretty well in miami. this is coming from a huge bron hater as well.
