People continue to praise Chris Paul in this top 5pg discussion based on reputation. He has been down this yr and in head to heads against these point guards (ie both times against Russ and the Thunder) has been outplayed badly. He even admitted it the other night after Russ locked him up in the 4th and closed the game out scoring on him at will. He said, "I lost my individual matchup, and that's probably why we lost."
He's not perfect, obviously shooting something around 25% from 3 needs to be worked on, but then he just doesn't shoot tons of them and it's a moot point. Who's stopping him from getting into the paint? And he's 3rd in the league at getting to the line so he capitalizes on his quickness well.
Chris Paul is giving you 16ppg and 1 more assist than Rose and Westbrook, with 9 points less and NOT taking over games in the 4th quarter as his team fades into obscurity. I'm sorry CP3izzle, you're the odd man out, might have to catch the All Star game on tv from home in New Orleans, or Kansas City, or Seattle, or wherever the #!!# bruh
