The Official NBA Season Thread: Free Agency Day

Poole is not in that category. For him to put up respectable #s while only playing with HOFers doesnt cut it.

Outside of Steph…the 2022 Warriors weren’t world beaters. Poole was leading a second unit with Otto Porter, Beli, Gp2. And what Poole did in the second half of the 2021 season after getting called up from the G-League in his second year his remarkable.

Draymond was getting benched in the 2022 finals (and doing pods about it…they really should’ve nipped this in the bud. Never forget how annoying he’s been)

He was also suspended in the Memphis series (In a game the warriors won). And Poole came up huge.

Klay didn’t play until January in 2022. Poole went from starter to bench seamlessly. Poole got all the tools. The Draymond **** and the Warriors choosing Dray over him, really set him back.

So why is he so bad this year? If he was that good, the coach wouldnt be benching him as often and his stats wouldnt drop off as much as they did.

No Steph, clinched a playoff berth. In several high-leverage games Jordan Poole had the lights on him and shined. And people are talking about others who wilted in the second round and all sorts of other small-time things.

The narrative on Poole in here isn't fair or true. He is a really good player that was treated poorly by a teammate and the organization.

What would be the difference between a Brunson/Murray backcourt versus Ice Trae/Murray backcourt?

Also what’s Klutch beef with the Knicks? Is it lingering feels about the posse comment?
Knicks are seen as CAA run, a competitor of Klutch. Rich Paul used to work for them when Bron was with them.

It’s a whole bunch of things.

CAA vs Klutch.

Cam Reddish, Rich Paul didn’t like how Thibs/Knicks treated him.

That posse comment was so long ago and under Phil Jackson. Doubt it.

This rumor has been running around these parts for like the last 5 days. It’s “meh” trade IMO.

But, I think what we’re TRULY seeing here is Immanuel Quickley being shopped.

Knicks are not going to let Quick him walk for free. They can’t.

The Poole thing is the weirdest career arc we’ve seen in a while.

#2 scorer in a few series during a title run. The Warriors don’t win without him, that’s a fact.

He goes from that to unplayable in the playoffs, and is now playing less than 30 minutes on a lottery team a lot of nights.

Very hard to reconcile.
