He could very easily do that for the Nets or if he is traded to an undesirable but it would be a HORRIBLE look given his track record and likely have some level of implications on his contract negotiations this summer.

This is all business tactics. Last week the headline was Kyrie wants a long term extension from nets. Nets have been winning, kyrie been balling. Make the trade request and force nets into a long term extension.
