The Official NBA Season Thread

there were more transition opportunities in the 90s when you were sending 4 to the glass.

That bulls title against the lakers, MJ and pip had 2 on 1 opportunities like crazy. Talking about easy buckets

Let Brook Lopez camp in the paint while embiid camps in the corner. Counteract the extra spacing from stretch bigs that aren't really a threat. If you're making the offense pass more then it's working
Embiid ain’t camping in the corner….ever. He gonna be at the top, pump on the catch and force the defense to collapse

Magic and Bird saved the NBA
MJ elevated it to global significance
Bron ushered in player empowerment

Those are the 3 biggest impacts on the sport
Those are more monetary in nature than actual basketball on the floor though. But can't argue against it.

Ok so let him camp on the perimeter. The data is showing that scoring is up in the paint. We'll live with embiid pump faking if it deters shots at the rim

Going to be interesting seeing which teams are sellers in a few weeks.

Raptors and Bulls should be at the top of the list.

Don't think Masai has ever really done a full scale rebuild, so that will be interesting. He came to Denver and Toronto with a baseline of talent to start and improve upon it.

I honestly think Jae Crowder, Dario Saric, Washington Jr., and a 2024 1st round pick are exactly the type of package the Raptors should be looking for
