Just an FYI don't be so naive. You know deep down people were gonna find a way to overcome this if not me then someone else. Its only a matter of time. You guys really think this captcha system is gonna stop us? What you people dont get is that Nike will never win -- they cant -- anything a human can do we can program a bot to do faster. Nike can only slow us down temporarily and if you didn't know that by now then your just in denial.

People will always hate me and my site i understand that, I'm ruining the game, bot this bots that, blah blah bah just how it is now just be salty and accept it there is nothing you can do about it.

So if thats the case ticket master has been using captcha for years for ticketsales how come ive never heard of programmers cracking their code considering scalping tix has a highr return than shoes

Im not saying its impossible but now that nike has invested the time and money on creating a system that would make in fair for everyone what makes you think that they will not do everything to stop all the bots?

Oh they have, its just the fact that it is illegal to actually use bots on ticketmaster. It currently is not on NDC obviously...

We worked with law enforcement agencies to bring them to justice, and they were found guilty as felons last year.

Seems like with different limited releases will be a different captcha. I hope so. Gives the real sneakerheads a chance to get what they want.

Yes it is. Just like FB knows the racket they created by "advertising on facebook"...I assume you know that anytime you legitimately advertise on FB 90% of your likes come from click farms that are just trying to beat the FB algorithms trying to detect click farm profiles...we (as advertisers) are stuck paying more and more to actually advertise and FB doesn't give a crap cuz it just means I have to spend more to actually get any messages out to real people.

I kno youre a pro but you do kno prior to today rsvp and atc services are perfectly fine but once you start "cracking" something that a company uses for security reasons im pretty sure theres going to be some sort of legal ramification attached to it

They work just fine for now (but do you want risk it? It's not just a cancelled order, but potentially much more serious penalties), but many bots i've worked with show an excel like sheet with the image captcha and you still have to enter it in manually.. instead of having to load each page, it shows all the capchas in the one sheet and you just manually enter them and click ok, then the rest is automated. I assume the script kiddies around here and online will make something similar.

With all things pure, it started that way. I wanted to help people get sneakers but people expect you to bend over backwards for them. People have no idea the stress that comes with this job. People made it become about the money for me -- to me its basically another job. A job that pays really well. Enough for me to deal with all the stuff i have to go through. If it wasn't then nobody would do it.
I don't know if you follow me but i fell back a lot on twitter and niketalk. Just focusing on the business now. I'm hardly on there/here anymore because of that exact reason. I have a short temper and sometimes that gets the best of me and i realized that's not healthy for the business.

Yup, I spend 3500/month on PPC advertising and 20-30$ per day on FB until I started investigating why my engagement rate sucked. Dealing with negative reviews/comments is one of the hardest things to do on the internet, especially when you KNOW the customer is wrong.

i think its funny this issue is really only with NDC..

footlocker, finishline, jimmy jazz. i know there sites will crash, but it will crash for bot users as well.. and at least that evens the playing field..

Idk the specifics of how it would work, but why should I be paying someone else besides nike to get my shoes? I understand it's not the old days, but for for real screw those services b. Have to jump through mad hoops now of days for a damn pair of sneakers. Just make that sh*t a raffle and it will be a little fairer then the current system...obviously it's evident that every system can be manipulated by the amount of services out there, but still.
