Everything you said here is 100% true.

But when you commit to a guy long term, the way Philly did--You gotta stick by the guys side. At least the players and coach should anyway. You're in the trenches together. Let management and guys up top come down and look like the bad guys. That's what comes with the profile when you're at the top.

Guy had one of the worst post seasons in history shot the worst ft percentage in playoff history

Simmons acting like the kids at the beginning of Coach Carter and every other high school basketball movie where the kids are defiant little brats.

Ben still f’n with the money..

dude just gotta show up and half@)$)# and get the shh over with

Lost in all of this, is we have a good Idea that Ben didn’t work on his jumper this off-season. And I don’t see him budging at all, at even attempting jumpers.

So whatever team trades for him, is going to be frustrated quick, unless Ben changes it around. And from what we’ve seen from him. That’s highly unlikely

This could play out only 2 ways:

1. Ben Simmons has a burning desire to stick it to everyone and finally works on his jumper.

2. Ben doubles down, continues to lack a jump shot and gets traded and tries to drop 50 on Philly from just layups :emoji_joy:

Yup and back then people made excuses for him at LSU. "well he just doesn't wanna be there, he's one and done anyway.."

That's what I keep thinking about. After all this drama he's gonna go to another team and have a bunch of 12 pt games with no jumpers and 2/8 from the ft line.

Ben is playing this perfectly tbh
How? Not a team in the league wants this dude right now. Eventually everyone will turn on him in the media and he will get the T.O treatment.
what exactly is his end game?
getting traded won’t stop people from scrutinizing his game. Fans from other teams will turn on him quickly because he’s destroying all his goodwill

Again, this is all facts and truth.

But I subscribe to the belief you stick with your guys till the end. If you're in the front line with your guys, you stick with them. Let management who never sees that stuff take the hit. That's what they get paid for anyway.

nah whatever team he’s traded to those fans will make excuses for him just like Sixers fans did just as recently as this last season. They only turned on him when reports of him not wanting to play for Philly started to come out. Ben will be aight
