Russ makes 44Ms and 47Ms next year and has not played anywhere near up to that deal.

He will always be problem #1 for the Lakers because that contract forced them to field a team full of vet minimums  .

The Lakers therefore would work if Russell Westbrook wasn't playing like a bottom 5 starting pg in the league lol

dawg AD and Bron just lost to anfernee simons, nurkic and a bunch of dudes who just had voodoo donuts for the first time

russ is just one of many issues, but he’s not the #1 problem
Westbrook has been garbage, but it's the trade that was more harmful than the player because it nuked the identity, depth and flexibility of the team. Having to sign like eight veteran minimum players and hoping they all hit is ridiculous.

but but but....Ariza

AD and Lebron should be enough stop blaming Westbrook!
Exactly, Russ ain't play last night so who we blaming for those 6 turnovers from Bron. You mean the "GOAT" and AD couldn't take care of a DEPLETED Blazer team. AD a top 75 player can't get more than 17/7.

Must be a slow learner, just realized Bron brought Russ here so that he could be the ultimate scapegoat. Meanwhile he has the freedom to chase Kareem without any backlash.
Russ was over there popping bubbles 😂😂

Dude getting tired of being blamed for them losing, meanwhile LeBron going unscathed. Whose fault is this, Russ fault he played all the games this season and leading in these categories.

I’ve spoken privately with many prominent Lakers fans that post on here, and all of them have, in some form or fashion, stated that they do not view that championship as a legitimate title. One highly respected poster went as far as to say it was no more important than winning a 2k title. Referencing the popular video game franchise.
Laker fan here, they still sitting at 16 as far as I'm concerned.

LeBron really did the reverse of KD. That man is the reason they lost, I want him to join our team and play the wrong way.

Show me a Bron team that players/coaches reputations aren’t tarnished at the end of the run. It’s always someone else’s fault. AD getting a pass is comical 😂. Russ and Vogel are this iterations scapegoats and one again Bron is absolved from all blame
the funniest part, and what his stans never seems to catch on to is....the bron machine scorches earth wherever it goes. Teams build specifically to Bron's liking and blueprints. Gets whoever is possible to get according to what he requests, regardless of cost or collateral damage...and then if things dont work out he trades everyone away without batting an eye. If that isn't possible, he simply bounces. When he leaves, the team almost always struggles for some time; losses, low seedings, humiliations, etc. To the weekend watcher, it just appears that Bron's greatness is so strong that the teams success was solely because of his talent. They're quick to post his on-court/off-court +/- and then the averages of the team when he was on the roster and then once he's left. Completely and utterly ignoring the biggest element being that the teams were built around him, specifically; to compliment him, specifically. He's always the nucleus. And the rosters were built at whatever the cost to the future.

Bron ball is a system, there are very specific pieces needed for the system to operate successfully. Teams build around the system. If you remove the system, those pieces look ridiculous by themselves.

Cars have 4 wheels. The car itself cannot move without those 4 wheels. But what can the 4 wheels do if you take away the car?

Sigh how does nobody else that watches basketball ignore all this. Surprised he didn't go and post his number of games he has scored 25 or more points. I lost a game might as well go post how great I am.

Also are Lakers top heavy or naw? Is he singling out Russ naw or naw?
