Y'all need to chill with discrediting dudes careers just because you don't like what they said, it's getting weak. Tmac was putting up the same numbers y'all gush over in a era that had slower pace and less emphasis on the 3. His playoff struggles were what they wey but at his peak ain't that many better scorers ever.

It was really just two extremes

First someone said Tmac would easily be top 5 today: exaggeration
Then someone said the version we know of Tatum is better than him: exaggeration

I think he would definitely be thriving just like he was in his early 20's but not because of less aggression from help defenders

He would thrive, perhaps even "more" since there's so much spacing and the game being more about having 4-5 guys on the floor at a time who can shoot

The years he won scoring titles he'd definitely be tearing up the league today

Just like people are saying the latest aint necessarily the greatest, you can't assume the stars from the past would be "even better" today. But yes, he'd still be putting up crazy scoring numbers

That is no exaggeration. I don't know how old some of you dudes are but Prime Tmac(Magic years) is arguably one of the most naturally skilled dudes ever. There was a season or 2 where it was debatable who was better between him and Kobe. Ai, Tmac, and Pierce are 3 of the most disrespected dudes ever
