This man last played a game June 20th, 2021
he has seemingly had a significant amount of time to get treatment for any physical injury.. and any mental injury, I would hope he tried to get treatment in the last almost year

I mean… the whole situation is definitely weird. No doubt.
And if it’s a back injury I can totally see him using it as an excuse to stay off the court in Philly, then trying to rehab and work through it in Brooklyn and just not being able to get there.
It ain’t like doctors are doing elective or optional or exploratory back surgery.
You can take all the issue you want with how he’s handled it - I certainly have and he’s been wild goofy. But back issues that require surgery are a problem.
