Cousy even knowing about these hot takes about that era is hilarious man , gotta be close to 100 by now

Thinking about the Wolves they have a few interesting directions they could go.

Their best trade chip is Beasley. Half the contract of DLo, 1 year left.

Also trading Beasley for a new PG who is pass centric or a Center that can defend and rebound are necessary. Could move DLo to the 2. Which creates a fun offense with 4 guys who can initiate an offense if they brought in a PG.

Also provides a lot more lineup flexibility throughout games and game to game.

But with Beasley, Naz Reid, McLaughlin & Nowell that’s $20mil. Having those names on the block provides a lot more flexibility in trades than $31mil on DLo. Trading DLo would probably end up taking on so much more baggage just to match salaries. And my guess is that he could be had next off-season for a fair price and a good amount less than what he’s getting now.

On the other hand, let’s say they say were keeping DLo at the 1. Or let’s say they are moving on from DLo. Unless they slide Ant down to the 2 and McDaniels to the 3. The hole at the 2 would be huge. Just as it was when Pat Bev gets significant minutes because it has no threat of consistently producing.
