Can anyone recommend me some good tripods for my rx100?
Maybe a small and medium one?
got these more because they were cool looking than especially functional...
manfrotto pixi mini tripod
ultrapod II lightweight camera tripod
also a gorilla pod might work decent for a such a small camera...
with the rx100 being so small most tripods would work relatively fine, though ironically it is possibly that you might need a sturdier tripod because it is so small that it doesn't' put much downward weight on the tripod...
Thanks for those recommendations brah. Really appreciate it.
I was looking at the b&h website and I came across this one with a 3-way panhead. I see this being beneficial if I wanted to take a sweeping video.

Could I buy the handle seperately and attach it to one of the tripods you mentioned? Would I even need the panhead to do a steadier sweeping video?

Good stuff. Can't wait to see some shots.
Nice work @Ragin3ull and hod I love seeing shots from around the world and those are clean shots of your carrera. Can't wait to see shots of your 348TB!
Do any of the pros have specific tips for newbie's on taking photos in different enviornments?
Daylight, Daylight w/ sun in the background, nighttime, nighttime with lighting, etc?
I'm still trying to figure out aperture, ISO, shutter speed, and exposure. I got somewhat of a basic idea - aperture for foreground/background focusing, ISO for noise levels, shutter speed for moving objects, exposure for brightness....
Any fujifilm x series owners?
i had the x100 for a while. it was fantastic. i sold it to a friend because i primarily shoot film, but have been thinking about getting an xpro1 and x100s or t.
i have a lot of friends that use various fufifilm x series (xpro, xe2) cameras and they're pretty awesome. fuji lenses are fantastic.
are you looking to get one?

Sound like a broken record because I chime in every time fujifilm comes up, but I've been using X Series for almost 2 years now. Currently have a X-T1 (posted a couple pages back) and an X-E1 (trying to get rid of this ) and a handful of lenses. The primes are all amazing, hopefully will be adding the 23mm by the end of the year.

Yes sir, just sold off my remaining canon gear and now 100% Fuji. I use a x20, x100s and xt1. [emoji]128077[/emoji]

If you like the size and grip of a DSLR then you might not like the handling of the Fuji's, they're pretty small. I added a hand grip and thumb grip on my X-E1 and it helped a lot.
As far as the EVF goes, I never really had an issue with lag, but I'm sure it's one of those things that if you look for it and notice it, it will always bother you. I rented an X-E2 to see if it was worth the upgrade and I didn't think it was. The T1 feels like a much more refined camera

Anyone else use the VSCO film packs in Lightroom? What are your go to films?
How do you like Fuji compared to your previous Canon?
How is it in low light? How do you like Fuji compared to your previous Canon?
I had a 7d prior and it did everthing that I wanted. I got tired of lugging around all the heavy glass. Specially the 24-70 and 70-200. Them things were bricks. With the Fujis they are lightweight and I have no loss in iq. I can take the xt1 and x100s to ISO 3200 without hesitation. 6400 is even useable. Something I couldn't do with the 7d without having very noticeable grain. If your into flash photography the leafshutter on the x100s is invaluable. Shooting wide open at high noon without special gear is awesome. I will be putting the xt1s tracking through it's paces here shortly. My boy starts bball soon and baby girl has volleyball. This lightweight combo packs a huge punch. I don't miss my canon gear one bit. [emoji]128077[/emoji]
