got a few more
X2 thanks for pics. I wish they have an event in NYC

Great pics Nat. I wish they would re-issue the painted leathers, always classic.

Looking ahead to Spring 14...There's a very nice Serape Cardigan due.
It's not as strong as the RRL Grand Canyon version, but I'll definitely be purchasing if it makes it to stores.

I can think of like 100 different outcomes/scenarios of what would have if they had an event in NYC. Half of them would be awesome. Half would be a tragedy. Nearly all of them would make the news for one reason or other...

word... too much history, too much temptation. all those pieces in one spot would not end well.

i'm salivating over here.

Was able to pick up a few pieces during the Dillard's 40% sale. Gotta love those seasonal closeouts. Very satisfied I must say...

Nice pick ups, 50. I love that olive and orange shirt - that and the red and green Guide were two of my favorites from the past year.

I still need that Rugby. Saw it for the low in several places as well as online, but couldn't find a XXL. Do you know if they happened to have XXL where you copped?

I got a late jump on the sale so they only had two left, a M and a L. I ended up copping the L. I vividly remember going through the XXL section because I was looking for some stuff for my Pops too. No luck...

This is one of my favorite classics....the canvas buckle sportsman boots low version....I was able to get it from the bay this summer for $70 nwt

i need these to hit like $700
These will be an easy find at $700 or less. RL has produced this boot for the last three years straight in calfskin and suede. There's plenty of pairs floating around right now, and there will be even more towards the end of this season.

I've always liked these. How did the soles hold up on a pair of boots that old?

Its not over, they'll do another sale soon, there is too much left out there that wasn't bought up. I'll be going back for a few pairs of pants I know will not get bought up.

Dios mio!!!!

I need both of those, the serape and jacket are FIRE!!!

Where did this drop? I heard the rumor on twitter but haven't seen any proof myself. Maybe the mansion got it?

I'm not sure if and when it dropped, but I was able to discover that retail will be $295....which is about $110 more than the 2001 bear, the 1998 cream bear was $215 i believe and the red bomber bear was $225.... I did get the 1998 cream bear on sale, they were everywhere, the 2001 bear I purchased at retail, those were everywhere as well...I'll never forget 1996 (my first bear knit) it was very limited because it wasn't in a lot of major retailers, I bought it at a boutique store full price...I was young and working part time going to school, $225 was no chump change back then....now kids buy Jordan's and foamposites every other week Lol

True, but I think the remaining inventory will end getting shipped to their clearance/outlet centers to make way for the incoming fall apparel. There are two clearance centers about 20 miles from each other out my way. Gonna call and see if and when the RL will hit.

Whoever had them before me, just never used them...there was still tissue paper inside

Thanks for getting back to me, 50.

PMiddy - One thing to remember is inflation. Relative to the time, the 295 price isn't all that far off from the price of pat Bears. Rugbys that go for 145 or 160 now would have been priced at 98 in the same time period you are talking about.
