Ironically, having just lost his 2nd quali match, RG decided to hold some farewell ceremony for him.

Emma Raducanu withdrew. Sheesh. Both she and Laylah Fernandez fell.

You don't get many tennis pros from the Philippines (maybe Layla?) , so it'll be interesting to see her progress. I think she trains at the Nadal Academy as well.

Emma's been unlucky with injuries, but the consistency from her and Laylah just isn't there. I'm rooting for them, but it's hard cuz they rarely make deep runs in tournaments! Apparently, Emma's skipping the entire clay season.
