watching gameplay of watchdogs, why is there noone on the roads? game looks crazy empty

If i had to guess, they probably sacrificed character sprite population for graphics and performance.

They got crucified for the first title having the world too dense and it lead to a substantial graphical downgrade.

I want 21:9 and 60+ frames on every AAA title that has a PC port.

Or make the PC version cheaper.

Its about to be 2017 and there is consumer level tech that far exceed what any publisher is willing to pay a developer to make.

its a shame.
I understand that perspective. Investing in PC hardware and expecting it to get 60fps on every AAA game isn't too unreasonable, but devs cater to consoles.

If consoles had some type of 60fps standard, maybe we'd see 60fps AAA pc ports becoming standard.

There's so many different types of PCs that it must be a cluster.... for every AAA game's standard fps to be 60.
Proper mouse support and acceleration does not relate to actual gameplay?
I said crazy mouse support.

A small trend I see is complaints about devs not supporting their custom setups like triple screens, SLI, etc, etc.
Devs shouldnt care about 60FPS?
I said devs are catering to consoles, where 30fps is way more common. Also is there an updated steam survey? I remember a steam survey saying that most pc gamers have rigs that are weaker than xb1/ps4. If that's still the case, even more reason why some AAA devs. aren't catering to 60fps.
"they could just cop a console to negate some of the negatives of pc gaming"
I get where you're coming from, but I'm not deeply entrenched in pc gaming. If pc ain't doing it for me, I can easily switch to xb1. Vice versa. I don't see how some people make pc their only gaming platform. Given like you said below, getting shafted time and time again. Deus ex 2, Bloodborne, gta5, quantam break, mafia 3, and most likely RDR2/FF15.
PC users have a right to complain since they get shafted left and right with dog **** ports and piss poor performance on many AAA titles *cough* Arkham Knight *cough*. Hopefully that wont be too much of an issue in the future with Xbox Play Anywhere but it still doesnt solve everything. You are new to PC gaming so you might not get it just yet but give it a few years.
You're absolutely right, they can complain. I understand what you're saying. I made the decision to cop a pc a year before I even built it. So prior to building it, I learned about all those negatives aspects you're alluding to. Another biggie for me was pc ports that don't even exist. Some pc users are still waiting for that Bloodborne port. At this point, they should just cop a ps4. If they have a mid-range pc, their gpu costs $250-$299. A ps4 is around that price.
I understand why Devs and Publishers love consoles but catering to them has really held back progress in gaming as a whole.
Again, I get it. People spend all this money on hardware that devs. give an after thought. All I'm saying is that, until the pc platform becomes the promised land that some view it to be, they should cop a console as a fallback. Which they'd use to enjoy the game that has a bad pc port. I was enjoying AK on xb1 while some pc gamers were like
WX6yn16.gif

It's PC games most the time cheaper than console tho in the long run?
Maybe after 1-2 years, but it depends. PC has a large start-up cost that sort of negates the savings you get on games.

The latest steam sale were priced almost equally to their console versions. TW3/FO4 for $25 for example.
You do see PC games drop in price much quicker than console games.
True, but a console gamer could just cop a used copy for around the same price as the discounted pc price.

Dishonored 2 $48 on pc.

Dishonored 2 used on ps4, $50~

Improvement, but the shifting could be better.  Also needs more pops and bangs.  Turbo chirps and blow-off sounds good.

Hybrid, any word on Death Stranding and what kind of game it may be?

It probably doesn't drop until 2018.

Also, what happened to Deep Down and The Forest?

Planning on getting a PS4 Pro/4K set hopefully within the next few months.

Still want to play that Uncharted 4.

Is there any benefit from the pro if you don't have a 4K tv? Like will it improve at all on a monitor

Yea, you get the performance and graphical improvements.

You also get a cleaner image due to supersampling.

Final Fantasy XV for example will have a 1080p 60fps mode on pro compared to 1080p 30fps on OG PS4's.

If you select the 4K mode it will be 30fps like on the normal PS4 but will look a lot better.
