The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

why is bloodborne so dang confusing ? is it a linear game or open world? always getting ganged up on by enemies
The only linear thing bloodborne has is that there are certain bosses you have to beat in order to advance the game. Other than that, it's as open as you want it to be.

You gotta work for everything in Bloodborne man.

It is one of the most interesting lore given games but it isn't handed to you. Gotta listen to NPC's and read item descriptions among many other things to understand what it is you are doing and what is going on around you. It is actually fascinating and makes the 2nd play-through that much better.

Good luck :lol

that boss is such a pain

i fell off that damn stage/got one shotted by that beam thing so many f**** times

i went to the boss fight so early in to that stage (was wondering how u can access it by exploring so little), couldnt damage it enough, then i figured out the bonfires. its 2nd phase was giving me a hardtime too cus i dont know which direction it was facing :lol also fell on the water a couple if times

i just realized that i can reset my stats with that 10k item from the blacksmith. thank goodness. my build right now is as abstract as a painting. i was trying to get all the titles but seems like it will not benefit me to get all in one playthrough.

^^^ yeah man that book of reincarnation is a lifesaver

for the first 10-15 hours i would blindly put points into stats thinking they corresponded to the same stuff as they do in dark souls/bb and ended up leveling up stuff that didnt suit my play style smh

if u havent invested in magic i would suggest it some of the spells are really powerful and level the playing field a bit

i think i beat the whole main game under the suggested level (last mission is 130-135 i think and i was like 125) wasnt too bad once i got my bearings but those post game missions where you have to fight two bosses simultaneously :eek

One of my new years resolutions is to beat bloodborne.

If i don't get it done by halloween, i'll send it to one of you guys. I'll even pay for the shipping.

what the heck is the point/objective of bloodborne? i can't even get to the 3rd respawn...

what's with the hunters dream crap ?

^
you wake up and you are a hunter, your purpose is to kill all the monsters terrorizing the town.
but then you uncover a dark secret.
you will find out how the town become like that and the people that made it happen. everything will be explained even the hunters dream.

its very intriguing and mysterious.

you can check out youtube for all the lore. you might catch spoilers though.

bloodborne is very frustrating at first. dont worry about dying, its part of the game.
