The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

So if I only want to focus on week-2 drops... should I buy a bunch of caches now and open them later? Or should I buy them later instead???

Hate this rathian quest... got me going all over the map tracking this ******* :smh:

forget about it and do investigations, you'll see track and just pick them up on regular quests

if you go to an investigation with a pink rathian, you'd practically be done with it though you might need at least one track from the first 3 locations

for now keep doing quests and upgrade your gear, do the events, get the aloy armor and bow... kill anjanaths... that weird but awesome wiggler head piece....

Smh rip me lol
Just carry some of those nuts that cure all ailments and lots of healing items and you should be fine. Watch out for his beam attacks and it you have dragon elderseal weapons, those are good for him.

If all else fails, I can help. I do need some more of his fangs. :lol

stay on his sides especially since you main bow

avoid the cloud and that breath

pay attention to him, he is slow and sluggish so it's easy to predict his moves but breath beams a one hit

bring nulberrys

vaal is the only elder i have a specific/saved equipment loadout for :lol

have fun!

Really thinking about get HZD for 35 from this weeks sale.

I really enjoyed my time with that game. I am getting burned out on "games as a service" so it was nice to dive in, finish it, and just move on without feeling like you missed any of the experience.

Complete edition worth it for 35?

Definitely. I picked it up for 50 in December and enjoyed my 50 hours with it. Very fun game mechanics once you get use to it. The bow and arrow aspect is so different than what youreuse yo with shooters. Also, you can choose your style you can be more stealthy or just attack things head on. It’s truly your choice.

In terms of the actual story, I feel it was well written and leaves with a nice cliffhanger for HZD2. The dlc is a huge step up in difficulty as the new enemies are much more difficult for multiple reasons but the new bows have a new fun mechanic built into them which tries to stop the player to rapid firing arrows and actually work purely on precision and pacing.

I still haven’t finished the dlc as I’ve been too distracted but need to spend the extra 5 hours to do it.

Game itself is about 40 hours and the dlc is about 10-15. If you’re a completionist it’s more. And I know ultra hard mode is really difficult if you like that sort of challenge.

Thanks for the insight broski

Im just joshing you. I can see how people wouldnt like it tho but i love it.
I know

My only "gripes" with the game is that I wish there was a status bar to follow on when you're going to level up or a life bar for the monster you're trying to kill.

Jurytodas was annoying to kill lol. And I'm unsure if I should focus on one specific weapon or farm to make all the weapon options good.
