This would be the first time in a long while when the consoles can relatively easily reach the native resolution of the TVs and even if they don't run natively at 4K, it doesn't matter because there's techniques like checkerboarding anyway.
This is why I have to applaud Sony and MS this gen for going with powerful systems. Now we have options.
This time last year people were laughing at the thought of having consoles with 2080 level performances, 120fps, SSD's faster than PC and Ray Tracing.
And here we are.
Sony, Samsung and LG.
You can never go wrong with those 3.
As a gamer, look out for TV's with:
HDMI 2.1
120hz Refresh rate
VRR
ALLM
eARC
I would wait for CES in January to see what the manufacturers have in store for 2021.
But if you have to get one now then the LG CX for OLED or the Sony X900H for LCD's should be fine.
I'm wating for the onslaught of TV's with all the features above next year.

Plan on picking a tv a week or 2 before ps5 is out.
Just trying to figure out what to get.
Which tv brands are worth the purchase, things like that
Sony, Samsung and LG.
