Yeah that amount of time doesn’t work in my world but overall I say let him cook. Sappy is super fun to play with and always comes in with the OP character and makes the games more reasonable for people like me

I've always told people never to expect 60fps to be a standard and I still stick to that but next gen is probably the closest we will come to it.
Dirt 5 120fps
COD Cold War 120fps
Ratchet & Clank 60fps
Spider-Man Miles Morales 60fps
Deathloop 60fps
GT7 60fps (Possibly even more)
Demon Souls 60fps
Godfall 60fps
I'm sure i've missed some.
The extra headroom for next gen means high framerate modes could be here to stay.
Insomniac has to be No.1 best buy for studio acquisitions in recent times.
$230 Million and now they're carrying the PS5 at launch first party wise. Less money than what Sony just invested in Epic Games.

I honestly feel like people tend to over hype frame rates... 120 is over kill. 60 isn't even really needed for most game types outside of fighting, racing, FPS and maybe some sports games, but most games do just fine @ 30 fps. I'd rather have true 4k resolution and 30 fps for most games as opposed to 60+ fps at below 4k res.

Yeah true 4K and locked 30FPS is great. I would definitely take that with the enhanced graphics.

Yea I agree. I'm a visual person give me that native 4K, HDR, Ray Tracing and all the other graphical bells and whistles unless it's racers or fighters like you said.
I'm actually glad games like Uncharted stuck to 30fps because the realism of the graphics + animation is more immersive to me for a game like that.
That being said, with the power of next gen, I expect the 60fps modes on these games to still look really good. So for some games, the 60fps mode with the smoothness and better input lag won't be really be a visual compromise. Maybe you won't get ray tracing but most console gamers haven't experienced that anyway.
Man I really hope 4K OLED 120fps come down in price next year. I didn't think I would need(want) one this quick.

agreed with you on the 120+ fps but I think those make a difference for competitive first person shooter type games.I will disagree with you on 4K@30fps vs 4K@60fps - I think 60fps in most games (barring shooters) is the sweet spot. Huge difference in frame pacing and game flow.

it went on sale for a good price was 3500 got it for 2000 its a samsumg q800t so i aint worried about not having 8k content aint buy it for 8k that was a plus
