That’s one expensive game too. The most I drop on retro games is $40.

On another note, found yet another crt tv in the street, lol. It’s a 2005 Apex 20” with composite and S-video. Great quality image and good sound. Sadly there was no remote to be found. I hooked up my SNES with S-video cables and was impressed with the damn thing. Tested all my carts...

What happened to your og copy?

I had some games tossed out during my youth that I regret. I bough them all over again but they weren’t that expensive when I re-purchased. DieHard Trilogy, Mortal Kombat trilogy, Grand Theft Auto. The only ones I haven’t gone back to buy is Bushido Blade, Destruction Derby and Street Fighter Alpha 2.

Yeah man, those crt’s are still out here but they’re becoming a little harder to find for free. Folks are starting to get wise and ask for $40+ now instead of dumping them out to the street.

When I in middle school someone broke into my parent's house and stole some games from my room :smh:
Replaced most of the games but haven't been able to find one for a good price.

Fr It was a come up when you found a crt on the street for free. Can barely find them in thrift stores anymore

Damn that sucks! Glad you were able to get most of them. Kinda hard to do now with so many thrift stores jacking up prices.

I asked some of the thrift store employees why they don’t put them for sale inside the store. Several have told me that they don’t have space for them and that no one would buy them. They get donated to them and they flat out dump them into an E-waste bin even if they’re in good working condition. Unbelievable :frown::smh:

I went to my local used game store and picked up a few cheapo titles I didn’t have but was interested in playing after seeing YouTube vids.

Sega Genesis titles...
-Super High Impact (football) $3
-Tecmo Super Basketball $2
-College Slam (pretty much NBA Jam) $3
-Olympic Gold (1992 Olympic Games) $1
-Incredible Crash Dummies $5

Might be 2 more legit regular games I want before I start going the reproduction route. Almost done buying for the Genesis.

Edit: Forgot to add that prices have changed on Genesis games as well. The prices used to be the same wether or not they came complete in box or just loose cartridge. Now they sectioned them off. For example, I picked up College Slam for $3 but a complete boxed version was $14, crazy!

Not the correct era though. Styling Jordan 1 after the OG NES would’ve been better in my opinion.

The GameBoy theme would be appropriate on a Jordan 4 or 5.

I don't mind the different eras as long as the idea was well executed. And to me they came out nice.
