Isn't that the Model X shown in that link?...
Tesla needs to get their **** together quick...
Not 100% sure, but I think there are different versions of the model 3.
Speaking of being not 100% sure, does anyone know if there will be a tax break with the model 3. I think with the Model S, you get something like a $7500 tax credit.

Damn, doesn't Tesla send out their own electricians to install their chargers?
Damn, doesn't Tesla send out their own electricians to install their chargers?
Nope. The charging installation is up to the customer. They referred me to someone else to take a look at it but that electrician wanted $170+ just to take a look at it. I had another licensed electrician who just checked it out for free since he was here anyways and he said it was the adapter's fault cause the breaker didn't trip and all wiring on my end was fine.
Damn, wonder if anyone else on the tesla forums has experienced this issue. How long have you been using that outlet to charge it?

I've been using it for over a year. These fan boys on the tesla forums are quick to be captain save a ho for Tesla and blame me for causing the adapter to burn. They all assume I've had a hood electrician hook it up. I had the outlet taken apart and there was no other damage on that end except for what the adapter caused. I want to call these old geriatric tards out.
So this happened. Just to answer some questions, I didn't have some hood electrician install the outlet either. It was a licensed electrician and I checked and he had all positive reviews on yelp.
It charged to 100% and when it was done I went to unplug it to go out and saw the it was burnted.

have watch. The Apple Watch integration is crazy as hell. I'd get one just for that lol
Tesla keeps rocking the boat apparently by introducing what appears to be a pyramid scheme for its customers.
The deal goes like this: A current Model S owner can provide his friends with a unique referral code in order for them to get a $1,000 discount on the final price of their new Tesla with the referrer also gaining a $1,000 credit towards the purchase of a new Tesla.
Those who will successfully 5 new customers will also get themselves a tour of the Gigafactory. If you manage to bring in 10 new customers, then the perk is getting even better, with Tesla giving you the opportunity to buy a special edition ‘Founder’s Series’ Model X at $20,000 discount.
And if you manage to be the first in your region to refer 10 new Tesla customers, then Elon Musk will give you a loaded Model X for free! That’s insanely cool!
Mr FarnkMucus, get that referral number and get on working for a free Tesla!
did not know leasing was at $1200 though.
thats a tough choice especially when you can get in a new S class for that money.
and you need at least $7500 down for the Tesla.
Was definitely considered it but I just love that exhaust note and engine roar too much.
The GLA is actually my daily driver now and I'm looking for a weekend car but that likely won't be a Tesla.
I might consider it again when the lease is up on the GLA and whichever weekend car I get is enough to let me drive the Tesla daily.
Though that post above where dude is saying you need a $7500 down and the monthly is still $1200 for a lease? $7500 tax credit balances it out but that $1200 monthly is pretty stiff, I assume that's on the P85D version?
