the thread about nothing...

A girl was sleeping at work, every monday is a struggle for a lot of us

Reading posts here, glad I don't work 50 hours per week, too lazy for that

If Instagram didn't exist, alot of people wouldn't be going on that many vacation.

I feel like people go on vacation just to post on the gram

Hmm, as wild as this sounds this might be true for a small minority of folks.

I do think Social Media has opened people's eyes about the beauty of traveling, so that is a plus.

I've been on mandatory overtime since like ****ing March with little hope of a normal schedule this year. I would do almost anything for a regular 40-hour week. 10+ hour days and 1-day weekends get pretty tiring.
I remember last year when we were offered a voluntary overtime to work on sites with an extremely high and volatile case of Covid. while the pay was double and quite high, I refused. reasons: in spite of high pay rate, the risk of transmission was extremely high, people were actually dying like more than half the patients died upon contracting Covid, you will be automatically quarantined and couldn't go home and delegated to sleep somewhere in a hotel even if transportation and accommodations were covered, there wasn't a vaccine available yet and you could actually get infected and don't know if the virus would be lethal for you, the pay rate wasn't fair and was uneven considering that other employees in other positions were paid way more than us direct contact responders and are more in danger of contracting the virus, employee shortage and work hours from 16-24 hours shifts back to back to back to back, depending if they can find a relief or replacement for you (this ran for 3 months, if the virus wont kill you, it's out of over-exhaustion), bad management, and lastly, I have an indifferent attitude towards the arrogant staff in those sites and didn't really care about them.

this is the reason why people in the healthcare industry are frustrated and mad about people not getting the vaccine and not following the safety protocols.

What's you all wearing today ?

So my boy ordered a sword and it’s being delivered to my house today cause he’s gonna be at work
Then I get this text this morning
What do y’all think? Is it real? Or spam? Only reason I think it might be is because it’s a damn sword  and they might need to check it out or something
But if it was real I’d assume they’d email me instead of texting

the tracking says it’s on the truck being delivered

I just posted and didnt read your post. I've been working 58 hours weeks for about 7 years now. That 5 - 10 hours days and 8 hours on Saturday. Sundays are the only day I have to rest, do house chores, and spend quality time with my fam. So I really know the feeling.
7 years??? That's insane man! You've got to stop or get out of this situation because that's terrible for your health fam. When do you sleep?
