At least try and contact them to let them know, more fragile/sensitive people could have got it a lot worse. It's summer time, the smallest thing in the kitchen can have disastrous consequences, best thing is telling them asap so they can pinpoint what exactly went wrong in their process/routine today.
Chances are they'll even give you a refund or something
