blinking red light is fixable, it's the yellow light that means you're boned. there are videos of fixes on Youtube.

that or send it to sony and they'll send you a refurb.

or ship it to me >__> I'll fix it myself, my girl wants a PS3

True, true, appreciate everybody attempting to clear this stuff up.

I do remember NT being really strict against pics posted that had the website shown though, maybe we can get away with posting pics as long as any logos are blurred out or something.

There's no point in discussing that here to begin with. 

It's like trying to pretend there's a way to have a discussion about an illegally pirated movie that just leaked or a celebrity sex tape.  You all know what happens in those situations.  We don't want that here.  Respect it and enjoy the community for what it is, not for what it isn't.  

This is a family friendly community.  It's been that way for 12+ years and that's not changing.  

We all make sacrifices in order to make as many people feel welcome here as possible.  If you can talk about 95% of the things you're interested in on our forums, why be greedy and try to force that last 5% in at the expense of other users?  

People access our forums from work and in homes with young children.  Respect that people should be able to enjoy the "thread about nothing" without wandering into a discussion about pornography.  

It's not like we're the only site on the Internet.

I thought it was just actual links and requests and whatnot.

yes, people rarely get banned for it though

i remember on one of my old SN's 5 minutes after i posted my first video ever and it had like 2 swear words in it and i got banned yet i see dudes posting 50 videos a day filled with stuff and get nothing.
