Decks: Northern Co, Scumco, Real, KrookedAlright, I haven't skated in several decades, what are some good Skateboard brands, I'm looking to take it up again just for fun. I am not interested in longboards or anything like that. Thank you.
Never too old! I skated from age 12-13 and then at 21. Didn’t get back into it til I was 28. Haven’t stopped since (I’m 32 now). I regret quitting so much....I could of been a lot better than I am today.Just turned 28 guise, am i too old to pick up skating?
Don't ever stop trying.
Lord knows i haven't, i deeply bruised my ribs and knees like two weeks and just started as well.
I thought id give it up after a week but now just learning switch, no complys and shove its.
Fun asf wish i learned this when i was younger, this healing process is a bishh tho![]()
Save some $$$ and get some Bones Reds or Super Swiss 6. I’ve heard a lot of stories about Bronson’s crapping out pretty quickly.Gotta upgrade my bearings. Bought 10 buck indy's, wheels don't even rotate for longer than a couple rotations. Probably just gonna upgrade wheels/bearings at the same time to Ricta clouds/Bronson's.
Then grab some new Indy trucks.
They are releasing a Jason Lee/Woodie Guthrie board I kind of want, but baby steps lol. Starting to find I kind of want a bit more room for my feet as the 8.0 is a little too thin for my size 11.

How long has it been since the ol’ folks in here have skated? Been like 15 years for me. I think this is the summer I get a deck and parts and build my own like I’ve always wanted and get on the board once again. I can feel the soreness now.
