Bought the Fossil Q Machine in gunmetal over the weekend. My first watch purchase. I really like Fossil’s line of hybrid smartwatches but the 45mm case is a little big for me but I’ve gotten compliments for it. Torn between whether I should return it or not.

Many of them look beat to death on Ebay and they still want 8k for them . I have no problem paying 8-9 k , but it better look very good and come with a box

Tried it on and boom it came home. Never selling this one. Still on the hunt for my aquanaut

yah i think it only retails for 1600 so under 1k is easy

i think it executed very well, the shade of green, the matte finishes and the strap

Got a chance to try these on. The jubilee feels really light and comfortable. 9250 MSRP. The rose gold makes me really want to sell my yellow/green GMT but I think I’ll stay away for now.

We’ll see how things pan out, I’m anticipating my SS skydweller to get allocated around summertime, at least that’s what they told me.

I just picked up a GMT coke 16760 “fat lady” complete with everything including the original sales receipt for 5k last week. The owner wanted it gone, private sale, which is the only way to go with vintage. Most guys that resell watches will mark them up like crazy. It’s not easy to find someone but this is literally how resellers buy these watches, especially guys like Bob Maron.

The bezel is in amazing condition but the watch definitely needs a service. I just need to figure out the best way to go about it without compromising the original parts. I know sending it in to Rolex is basically a lottery with what parts they’ll put in it. It’s my first somewhat vintage (1985) and I’m new to the game with that. Mine is unpolished and I’ll probably keep it that way.
