The Ultimate Soccer Thread 2012-2013 Vol. 3 Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga etc

LOL, no. And posting it ad nauseam won't make it come true.
Def deserves it. He's been crucial for la Real, and is in a great run of form.

Speaking of the MexNT, Jon Dos Santos needs to move to a club where he'll get playing time. Based on ability, he should be getting regular call ups at least within a couple years. Just doesn't want to leave Barca right now for whatever reason, and rejected last summer's loan offer.

O classico was entertaining - especially the first half. Some good football, and a stunning goal from Matic. Ended in a 2-2 draw so they're both still unbeaten. Well worth a watch:

Glad to see I'm not the only one who follows Primeira Liga in here :lol

Benfica better win the league this year :{

Apparently there's talk of Remy's deal being hi-jacked by QPR for 8.5m (1.5 more than the Newcastle offer).

QPR making a desperate attempt to secure Remy and M'Vila to keep them in the prem.

Who knows though, it could have all started on twitter though...

:lol Apparently QPR has hijacked the deal, and Newcastle paid for the his flight to the UK.

Some are saying that it's just a ploy to get Newcastle to pay more.

@JamieDalton82 So I make that Debuchy, Ba, Remy, M'Vila, Capoue available in the January market. All will go for under £10m. No value in January though eh?
Those who haven't read the link, Capoue to EFC depends on Fellaini to CFC....so...

Wenger has enough money to get all of them. He was saying how it was difficult to find quality players for the right price. Those are all quality players. When we made a move for M'Vila, Rennes was asking for 20mil

I hope so, but Peralta is in great form so I don't see it happening soon.

The way I look at it, Peralta is in competition with Chicha, De Nigris, Sabah, Marquez, etc. They are all Natural "9s". Vela can be thrown as a winger like Chepo used Barrera, 2 Santos, Arce, etc.

I would love to see Herrera and chaton in the middle. Dos Santos Behind Chicha, Guardado to the left, and vela on the right. 8)

So Arsene signing the French NT?

At least they'll be some sort of chemistry. Lol

Arsene makes it seem as if we're poor. How can the 4th richest club in the world struggle to buy and pay players? I don't get it. :{

Getting French players is what AW is good at. Over the years it's become harder to find hidden gems. But **** man, a handful of good players going for around 10mil....that's his price range! :{
We're in great financial standing

We have very cheap owners, Stan only wants to make money.

He doesn't understand he won't make anything if we don't make UCL and to make the UCL, we need to sign some damn quality.

Just watched highlights of yesterday's matches since I couldn't watch them live

RvP :x :hat he's gonna win EPL POY
Evra has been consistent these last games :hat
Sturridge should be in the starting 11

That foul on Dzeko shouldn't have been a red card, the PK was enough
WTF is wrong with Tevez, he's been looking out of form lately
That Kompany red card was a bit tricky to call. Once the ref showed him the red card, his reaction had me :lol

Sidenote: Lukaku is a problem!!! My god!! :x :eek :hat

from that same account of the nasri video theres a vid of united fans singing "your teeth are offsides" to luis suarez :rollin

I mean ho do you not know how to handle a dog in the above video, dude was scared holding the 1st one. be it you don't know where is been through but they looked clean

and the cool thing about that Nasri video is I knew exactly which tunnel he went through and passed by the Arsenal store

ManU's megastore at the stadium rivals about half the size of a Wal-mart. I remember Boltons, Evertons, and WestHam's stadium stores was like the average sized Banana Republic stores

Arsene's already said he has complete control over the transfers, they're all his decisions.

Apparently Remy's making a stop in London to meet with QPR tomorrow? Wenger better swoop in at the airport and offer that man a contract in the customs line.

Very strange of Remy to decide to choose QPR over Newcastle, I guess money and living in London played it's part, I hear he will have a clause in his contract if QPR get relegated he can leave

Those fans should channel some of that energy towards Arsenals board members :{:{

While I dont believe that the board has their own targets (:lol Silent Stan has been to what two games? And one was only because the Rams were in London that weekend playing at Wembley vs the Patriots) they certainly dictate how much he can spend. The summer Cesc and Nasri left we were in for Cazorla (who would have been the prefect replacement) and we were priced out by Malaga and chose to go with Ramsey as our AM. Everyone knew how much of a downgrade that was but we still went ahead with it and if it wasnt for Malaga's financial troubles and Cesc and Pries talking up Arsenal to him he wouldnt be here...and Ramsey would be getting more playing time. He makes many questionable decisions but I have to believe that he in no way shape or form thinks that Ramsey is a better option at AM than Cazorla. We scout good p;ayers and take the cheap option time and time again (ie Gervinho vs Hazard) and thats down to the boards doing imo.

Those fans should channel some of that energy towards Arsenals board members :{:{

Very true. Sicking stuff because you could tell he was actually fearful for his safety and if it wasn't for Chamakh who knows would could have happened....people are nuts and thats not right regardless of how he left the club. With that being said though, what the hell did he think was going to happen if he was going to walk up to Emirates and watch his new team take on the club that he left. Again he should feel safe in doing so, but it just wasn't the smartest decision.

Yeah I'd imagine most of the players that QPR is looking to sign will have that bit in their contract. Maybe Wenger is looking at this a bit of a showcase for him to see if the move and new challenge will straighten out his off field issues and he'll go for him in the summer regardless if they stay up. However it seems like you could get in much bigger trouble on much higher wages while living in London than on whatever he was on before and in Rennes, France.

While on the subject of QPR, anyone watch that documentary on Netflix about their quest from promotion to the PL? Its called The Four Year Plan. They seem like such a mess in terms of coaching and signings during that time, its worth a watch though. Their club since being up have continued that trend. :lol I dont know what they though Mark Hughes was going to do other than blow their money on crap overplaid players like he did at City.

Chelsea have loaned Lucas Piazon to Malaga.

Tougher league, team still in the CL, MF that is pretty strong...not sure how this helps him get minutes. Unless Malaga are about to announce some player sales...
