My boy said TWD is doing a spin off with a whole other group. So it'll be this show exactly, but a different cast and presumably a different part of the country, different story archs, etc. during the same time period... Anybody heard anything about this?

Google news about. We talked about it being greenlighted but don't think anything specific about it has released yet.

Can't believe Sonequa is 8 months pregnant.

Makes me wonder if she is being offed at the midseason finale. When Chris asked how they would incorporate her being pregnant in the show she hesitated then said "I'll guess you'll find out".

On the heels of AMC officially placing a pilot order for its Walking Dead spin-off, er, companion project, TVLine has obtained fresh intel about the six principal characters populating the potential series. And they are:

SEAN CABRERA | A Latino male in his early 40s, Sean is a good man trying to do right by everyone in his life.

CODY CABRERA | Sean’s whip-smart and rebellious teenage son. Known as the angriest kid in town.

NANCY TOMPKINS | A thirtysomething single mom to two kids, Nancy looks like the girl next door, but there’s an edge to her.

NICK TOMPKINS | Nancy’s screwed up teenage son. He’s too old to stay home, too scared to flee.

ASHLEY TOMPKINS | Nancy’s mostly level-headed teenage daughter. Her ambition is in direct proportion to her older brother’s failures. She loves her mom but it’s time to get out of Dodge.

ANDREA CHAPMAN | A somewhat wilted flower child, fortysomething Andrea — yep, another Andrea! — has retreated to the outskirts of the city to recover after a horrible marriage.

AMC has promised that TWD: 2.0 will shed light on a new, previously unseen corner of the zombie apocalypse — perhaps one where the living outnumber the undead.

As TVLine previously reported, there’s buzz that the offshoot — penned by showrunner Dave Erickson and TWD creator Robert Kirkman — will be a prequel of sorts, one that would chronicle the early days of the epidemic and the effort to contain it.

Wow seems I was right to just stop watching and binge watch the last 3 shows. Posts in here are just trashing the last 2 eps Can always count on TWD to go back to being the same terrible decompressed **** as usual.

I don't understand why they must split the season in 2....that **** sucks!

BB and MM are done. They gotta spread the wealth through the year. At least that's my reasoning. Didnt BB do the split season also? Maybe AMC just does that cuz they can. Either way, it sucks! I'm not trying to wait until February or whenever it starts up again.

They did it that way at first cuz BB was ending and they tried to negotiate a whole other season. When they couldn't they were like **** it lets split the last season in 2 and treat it like another season anyway. Now they're pulling the same **** with MM. I figure they see the strong ratings for TWD and say we can do it with this too even though it's not ending any time soon. Also keep in mind all the other shows AMC tried to make a hit haven't been hits yet. They got potential in Halt & Catch Fire but that's about it.

I have a feeling either beth or carrol will die when the group tries to save them... that or young chris will be offed since he got no hunting skills... and ya ive been waiting for morgan to come back since the first season but he was in season 4 so never know

I mean logically, although they never smashed on camera, they've been alone a few times. Either that or she dies, commits suicide, or leaves the group.
As for Judith, they've been robbing pharmacies and pantries for her formula. They've shown that a few times.
