the tiger was killed around the same time in the comics issue 4/12 of the All Out War story arc, I got no problem with it being gone
now that I looked back at the comics this season is pretty much at the exact same pace of All Out War, 4 issues in and Negan and the Saviors are still stuck at the Sanctuary. IDK for some reason it feels much worse seeing it on tv, maybe cuz of the bad acting

The whole tiger angle was always weird to me, its a tiger meaning it is likely to attack people, friends or not. So how he got it to only attack the bad guys I never understood.

Yea I get that but even a wounded tiger that was nursed back to health isnt gonna recognize his friends from enemies. You see all the time those shows where trained pet handlers are showing off an animal and it snaps and attacks the host/bystander

There are plenty of stories out there about wild animals protecting their keepers. Don’t get the big fuss over shiva being a tiger and protecting Ezekiel.

Shiva lasted longer on the show then the comic I think. She only lasted 10issues from 108-118. I think her death was just as good as the comics. Jerry and carol are alive still and that’s a win

Seriously the FTWD is superior in every way right now. The shows moves at a way better pace, it constantly has meaningful deaths, and all the characters are interesting in their own way. Drug addicts, scammers, ex cartel members, Native Americans fighting for their land back, racist militias (rip to the good brother that Chris got killed), etc etc
