Where’s the negative press questioning if team usa can win the fiba?

Never forget y’all let Carlos Arroyo eliminate y’all in 2004
A lot of countries have the same core like spain’s core is Llull Rubio Fernandez Gasol’s and lately the hernangomez’s . Aus’s core is bogut mills ingles etc, Argentina is campazzo scola garino so most of the time chemistry is not that big of an issue. They start practicing about a month and a half before like the US. A lot of international players also skip fiba tournaments.I ask this honestly, but do other top countries throw their team together for the first time a couple months before a tournament begins? (not their fault if they don't, I admit that)
The fact that Team Canada thought they could send 3rd/4th tier players and still moon walk through the tournament shows the arrogance y’all have
They all had injuries , key players pulling out. USA just had the worst case . Serbia lost their starting PG , Spain didnt have mirotic or Ibaka. I didnt see Huertel , Diot for france as well. They couldve been anticipating Parker to play as wellSpain, Australia, France, Serbia didn't send their best?
Being tournament favourites isn’t evidence team usa thought they were gonna moonwalk through the tournament? You're moving goalposts onto hockey rinks. The evidence you bring doesn't prove that many believed this tournament would be a moon walk
Milos got hurt during tourney play, Spain is rolling without those guys and Parker would be good but I don't think he's that big of a factor at this pointThey all had injuries , key players pulling out. Why do you think these players on the team didn't WANT to be there? This USA team was a disgrace. In the future, the team needs to consist of players that WANT to be there. Should’ve sent the select team coached by Van Gundy.
Or get creative with the roster. This was just a hodgepodge of good but not great players. All of them were exposed.
The funny part is - nobody on this USA team has accomplished a damn thing in the league. There should be no entitlement. This was their chance to actually play for something. Now they can get back to their meaningless nba careers. Kenba can get back to doing what he does best. Dropping 40 on the Bulls in November.

Online sportsbook BetOnline has the U.S. National Team as the -225 fave to win its third FIBA World Cup championship in a row. Following the NBA talents of the U.S. is Serbia (+350), Greece (+1000), Spain (+1600), France (+2800), Canada (+3300), Australia (+4000), Lithuania (+5000), Argentina (+8000) and Russia (+10000) to round out the top 10.
Why Is USA Such a Big Favorite?
Unless this is your first time watching international basketball, you’re probably quite aware that the United States National Team is the dominant force of this sport. The roster is littered with high-end talent from the NBA. They’ve won the last two FIBA World Cups and the senior team hadn’t lost a contest in international competition since 2006 before falling to Australia in a World Cup tune-up game on August 24.
However, we need to acknowledge that this U.S. team isn’t the strongest. There are a lot of key absences on this roster from the NBA circuit like LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, James Harden, Klay Thompson, Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard and 2014 FIBA World Cup MVP Kyrie Irving.
That being said, the Americans still have decent players like Khris Middleton, Kemba Walker and Donovan Mitchell to lead the new wave of U.S. basketball supremacy. But I’m not certain they can win the tournament with the way this roster is constructed. It would not shock me to see the Americans lose due to complacency from sending a B squad.

Imo, the best Americans would win gold but the reason they didn't play was because a lot of those players have already sacrificed summer(s) in the pastThe gap between USA players and other countries is not that big. Look at the amount of international players in the league.
That is probably why a lot of the big names didn't participate b/c they know it's not as easy as people think it is.

For the most part, the main countries were able to get their best out there
