You just gonna ignore the context on this one?

the context is that Dantoni has one season over .500 when not having an MVP candidate leading his team... so acting like he's some genius level coach while ignoring that he has consistently lost despite having superior talent is quite odd.

don't worry i'm sure more Dantoni fanboys will come in here talking about how he changed the course of NBA basketball... look at his offense blah blah blah

Not ONE finals appearance.

Yea that can't be a regular thing  . The footwork is kinda awkward. I'd be impressed if he hit 30% on that. In a tight game I'm still gonna force him right and hit him with the diddy staredown.gif

Not sure how Randle ended up on the Pels and Knicks after having promising seasons and not even fill up on 70% of the bag?

Slandering MDA when you have Vogel and Kidd on the bench

?
Here's the reality - argue it all you want but MDA has a long history of underachieving in the postseason and has no clue when it comes to in game adjustments. Meanwhile, y'all can witness what Vogel, Kidd, and Hollins will do this year with a STACKED roster.

Let's talk again come June. Clip this.

Vogel 60 playoff games.... .508 winning percentage
Dantoni 98 playoff games... .500 winning percentage

Look at the best players franks coached
Look at the players Dantoni's coached

Rockets fans don't wanna get started about MDA lol. Most underachieved coach of all time.

If Steve Kerr or Erik Spoelstra would've coached the 7-sec or less Suns, they would've earned a Finals berth no doubt

MDA is a good coach.

That's not saying much. Over half the league has a 'good' coach. He's not a great one and even worse a stubborn one that's in game management is downright poor. He literally lets the players do what the hell they want.

Yes, he is good but not good enough to lead teams with multiple all-stars to a Finals berth. Proven time and time again, this year will be no exception. Look for him to get canned sooner than later. Surprised he didnt get the ax this off season

Good, but not great. He's had the talent to get to the finals and has yet to do so and his teams that don't have as much talent have generally been bad. Never any overachieving.
Also hate the offense he's been running with Harden at the helm.

- ALL of this his Phoenix teams were some of the deepest rosters in the league Had one year where they potentially looked like areal threat for a title
- Hou Has had talent throughout these years & the style he implemented & let James run wild, which hampered them against the Warriors
- Like you stated every team of his that didn't have an MVP candidate for that year were mediocre as hell & never overachieved at all.
- As a laker fan i witnessed him implement his "system" and almost drive that Lakers team with Kobe into a lottery team. Until Kobe literally highjacked the team, switched up his style of play & drag that team to an 8th seed before blowing his achilles.

Not to mention whenever things aren't going his way he whines about everything, throws his players under the bus & quits.

he's a bonafide George Karl if we being honest, you want your stats boosted go call Dantoni.

The 2018 WCF was the Finals. You HAVE to account for conferences and who you’re playing. Seriously....his team pushed one of, if not THE best teams ever to 7 games.

Yall lower the bar more than limbo I swear . Anytime you try to boost up a player that hasn't won: winning is overrated. Actually, the first round was the real finals that year. He almost won 25 games that's close enough. Lawwwwwwlz

Phoenix was deep in the mid-2000s under his watch? WHAT.

dogs what?? those phoenix teams from 2004-2008 (which were the squads he coached) legitimately had rosters 8-9 deep. don't start this revisionist history now. He had a core of Nash, Stoudemire, Marion the entire tenure & role players throughout the years like Joe Johnson, Jim Jackson, Grant Hill, Tim thomas, Barbosa, Diaw, Raja Bell etc etc... yes those teams especially at the time were considered deep.

He can both have changed basketball forever and not have succeeded at the playoff level... Which is exactly the case.

What exactly are the Nuggets giving up to get Beal??

they first rounders are gonna be trash for the next few years, Murray isn't getting traded.

So essentially the Wizards are taking a package of Gary Harris (who's been injured every year & already got paid), late first rounders & MPJ/Bol Bol who are both raw prospects with serious injury concerns.......

Granted Washington has a horrible track record in terms of FO moves, so it's not out the question but that would be a horrible return for a star under contract and just entering his prime.
Ok. Let's start with using a little CONTEXT. Let's first assume that Beal wants out of DC. He has this year and next year remaining on his contract. Let's then assume that he probably is not going to re-sign in the summer of 2021 to a trash team if they were to trade for him, so for the sake of this, lets eliminate the non playoff teams and look at the teams that we all pretty much think are going to make it. From DC's perspective, I assume they want some combo of young talent, picks, and cap relief/expirings...

West
Nuggets- Yes. Contracts, young pieces, picks.
Warriors- Yes. Trade him straight up for DLo. Honestly this could easily happen.
Blazers- Maybe? Whiteside matches salary, Simons, picks, whatever else.
Lakers- No.
Clippers- No.
Rockets- No.
Jazz- No.
Spurs- No.

East
Celtics- Maybe?
Pacers- Maybe? Brogdon and Sabonis would work. Would Beal want to stay in Indy though?
Magic- Maybe? Could use Gordon/filler/pick, but I don't think Beal would re-sign there.
Sixers- Probably not.
Heat- Probably not. Think they have the assets to go for someone like CP3 but would get beat out for Beal.
Bucks- No.

After going through, those 3 West teams are probably the most likely landing spots for him. IMO.
