Kawhi don't deserve 1st team over AD

nope

27/7/5 was an elite defender this year too. 51 games played, 4 less than AD

The Clippers have a net rtg of 11.2 when Whi is on the floor WITHOUT PG. The bucks have a net rating of 10.7 which leads the league for reference.

When bron is off the floor and AD is on the Lakers have a net rating of -3.2

Kawhi clearly been better this year.

Kevin McHale took scraps for KG
Definitely wasn't a great return by any means, but also not quite as bad as you're making it out to be. KG had a player option the following summer and was going to bounce. Minnesota hadn't made the playoffs with him in 3 years.

Big Al was 22 and just coming off a 16 and 11 season. Very promising, especially when back to the basket bigs were still a thing. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL in his 2nd year for the Wolves. Celts also gave them 2 first rounders, one of which was the 6th pick in the 2009 draft where they idiotically decided to take Johnny Flynn instead of Underdog Steve.

"Punished" LOL you not his daddy

And not only are you loud, you're wrong. The man has a degenerative knee condition that can worsen with a heavier load.

Hundreds of different players have had hundreds of different injuries that they could use as a "can worsen over time" excuse to sit out games and not fulfill their paychecks/disappoint the audience/hurt the league's ratings.

The bottom line is that if you miss 20% of your games solely as a preventative measure, even though there is currently nothing wrong with you, such an act should have consequences for the accolades and awards that are awarded at the end of the season. Unless there is a clear and massive gap between the competition, which there certainly isn't between Kawhi and Luka/Harden.

They don’t lie, but they do make mistakes. Doctor’s who are acting in completely good faith misdiagnose people all the time, even with respect to conditions that have been around for a while, let alone completely new diseases. That said, if someone does their homework and picks a physician with a good reputation, they should trust that doctor.

At the same time, people need to trust themselves as well. If what a doctor is telling you doesn’t line up with how you’re feeling or that doctor doesn’t seem to actually be listening to you, think its fine to get a second opinion.

Just to give a couple of examples from my own life - my wife’s childhood doctor, who was a family friend and had been in practice for 30 years, failed when she was 18 to figure out she had Hodgkin’s Disease until it was pretty severe. She eventually went into remission, but it was a tough battle that might have been easier had the cancer been detected earlier.

And for me, after I injured by Achilles’, the first orthopedist I went to told me it wasn’t ruptured. Told me to just rest and ice it. Did that for two weeks with no improvement and then went to someone else. The second guy knew immediately that I’d completely blown the tendon.

Mistakes happen - even with well trained, experienced doctors.
Second opinion is damn near a must when it comes to serious matters, at least for me.
You watch last night's episode of Curb?
