stockton racked up all those assists running PnR with Karl Malone when you couldn't help off the ball on defense. Give me CP3 over Stockton all day.

edit: if people are going to use the "MJ would score X amount in this era because no handchecking" it's gotta go both ways. help defense in the 90s was atrocious.

Stockton getting slept on. Basically 17 points, FOURTEEN ASSISTS, and 3 steals per game in his prime. Really good shooter that unfortunately came before the 3pt boom.

I think Stockon's numbers are slightly inflated from playing with the Mail Man & spamming the PNR.
CP3 has the edge on making everyone better, but I'm sure you can make arguments for both.
