They would definitely have not as much money, but they would be far from bankrupt.
Is the NFL watched in China at all? And they seem to be doing okay. Not to mention the fact that the NBA is way more popular than NFL in Europe, South America and everywhere else in the world as well.

Should he say that the NBA is going to cut off all business with China?
He could do that, but highly doubtful it would have any impact on China’s political policies and the people who would be hurt most by it are the millions of Chinese people who follow the NBA and are just regular folks trying to live their lives, who have no impact on government policies.
I’m not defending the Chinese government; I just don’t think a purely private enterprise that’s purpose is entertainment should he fighting international political battles. The NBA is pretty good about letting individuals affiliated with the league express their personal views without coming down on them, which is good enough for me.

NFL is a bad comparison because its the biggest sport in the US. Much biggest than the NBA, so it doesnt need china. Of course it would loooooove that viewership though. Nba is popular in South america and europe too, but not as much as futbol. It would take a huge hit losing the Chinese viewers. No other way to frame it.
